Congrats and welcome to ECF! You made a great choice with the MVP. I love mine! They are absolutely the best bang for your buck device out there, and they taught me a lot that I needed to know about vaping. Ohms law, the difference between variable volts and variable watts, etc... I just sent one of mine to my sister, who lost her eGo. Actually, I think it's odd that she lost it right around the time she knew that I was getting a new device... Methinks she wanted a free upgrade and knew I was a sucker. Anyway, you'll really enjoy it. Vape on!

No apology needed! Didn't bother me to embrace my silver, and doesn't bother me to have buzzed my long curls that made my gender more clear. The pic I used doesn't help any. It's all good.

And don't fret the looming 40's - they were my best decade ever. It's a little early in my 50's, but so far so good! Here's to good health, and living long and prospering!
Amen to all of that. Thank you. :)

Welcome to the forum and congrats :toast: (btw drinking water is good for you in any way so it is good to see that you don't find it a problem ):)
Nope, not a problem at all! Is it gross to say I think my pores are ...trying to empty themselves out? Anyway, probably TMI. But definitely consuming a lot of water.

Thank you so much for the welcome and support!!! :)

LOL, maybe you're a "sucker" but I think most of us would do just about anything to keep our loved ones off the stinkies.

Thanks for the thumbs up re: MVP! Can you tell me the volts/watts setting you prefer? I'm not getting the amount of vapor I desire (not enough) and I'm set at P - 10/U - 3.5 (again, forgive me for not knowing the terms)

Thank you for the welcome and support!!

Welcome Astron to ecf and congratulations to you. Looks like you can expect some happy vaping. Good luck to your hubby too. Everyone has to make the final decision but you sure are doing everything right. Look forward to reading about his success too. Welcome again to ecf. :)

y'all are all so nice. (I may live in WA but I am Southern too!) Thank you. I know he's just not ready yet, and I get that. Thanks so much for the kind welcome. :)

Try setting the P (watts) at 8 and adjust it up or down as needed. Leave the U (volts) alone as you can only set one and the last one you use is what it sets at.

man, that was a quick response. Thank you so much.

It's too funny because out of all the forums I've been on, and I know there can be...exceptions...but so far this one is the friendliest. And the people at the B&Ms are all really eager to help, too.

Thanks again. Going to try it now. :)

First, you can only be in one setting at a time as variable volts and variable watts are essentially the same thing. With variable volts, or the U setting on the MVP, you are manually adjusting the volts to taste. If it isn't enough of a hit, you go up to the next volt setting and so on. With variable watts, you are still adjusting the volts. The thing is, once you find the hit you like, you can leave it there and the device will adjust the volts on it's own, depending on the resistance of the coil you are using. Basically, its a set it and forget it mode. If you set it at 10 watts with a 1.5 ohm coil, and then switch to a 2.0 ohm coil, it'll increase the voltage on it's own to get to 10 watts again. That's what watts is. A calculation between ohms and volts.

So, if you aren't getting a good enough hit at 10 watts, or 10 P keep going up until you find what you like. As long as you stay in P mode, or watts mode, it'll just give you that same hit like no matter what tank or coil you switch to.
