I've been using the 1.8 ohm smok tech dual coil cartomizers. The ones that are fairly large. I also got an ego c twist 1000 mah battery. This was my first ego battery. I heard that people liked to change the voltage, so i started to play with it. I found that on 4 volts I got a really nice throte hit, so for awhile now, I've been using a 1.8 ohm cartomizer on a 4 volt battery. I'm now finding out that this can cause a carto to burn and stuff.

Like I said, I've been doing this for a long while now and I've never noticed a burnt taste or anything. One of the cartos laste me about a week. They would laste me longer, but I like a really strong throte hit, so I change them out when I don't feel they are performing as well. Looking back, I've killed 1 cartomizer. If it was because it was a 1.8 ohm carto on a 4 volt battery, I didn't realize it, I just thought it was a bum carto.

So, should I not be doing this?

1.8 is okay on 4 volts, yes it will burn up the cartos SLIGHTLY faster but, you may want to drop back to around 3.7 and up the PG and, maybe even the nic in your juice to get more TH out of it a lower voltage.

I would also look into the different tanks, the EVOD Nova and, Protanks as well, those are easier to clean than cartos and, you can replace the heads in them, much less costly than buying a whole new delivery device. If you like cooler vapor, go with bottom coil, for warmer go top coil and, note that protanks do tend to have a more airy or softer draw than the others so, for the TH you like, you may not like that.
