Got my Silver Bullet kit and my new juices from jugs and all I'm getting is a bitter, burnt taste with not even a hint of actual taste from my juice. It's not the stellar vaping experience I was hoping for at all with my new stuff.

Please help me.

Here's the kit: Silver Bullet Kit 3.7V

I'm using the
PowerPal DCT-V1 Tube tank (6.0ml)
on my SB with Butta Finga'z juice.

Yes. I also let it sit for a bit in the tank, pressed the button a few times before I vaped. Tried a different juice. Put in a different carto just in case I screwed up the first time. All with the same result.

I know a lot of people have been complaining about the q/a on the smok cartos, have you tried just a regular carto or atty on the SB.
It's only 3.7v so it should be providing too much power to the coils to burn it ( unless your stacking 2x lifepo's)

We may have another victim of the dreaded dead Smok DCT carto's... :( Many of us have had poor results with these as of late. Might try another carto, but your results may be the same... Sorry... I ended up with some of the Smok single coils. These seem to be doing much better so far.

Edit: Zero beat me to it by that much... :)

An LR DC on a 3.7 volt device is pretty harsh. I would imagine that dark juices are worse. I don't like dessert flavors so I don't much experience with them, but I shelved my DCT because I couldn't handle the 1.5 Ohm carto. Curiously, however, the 1.5 Ohm Mega DC is great.

Currently vaping Butter Yum Rum in a DCT with 1.5ohm dc carto at 3.8v with no problems.

I have to agree it's probably an issue with the pre-punched cartos. I had the same issue, but it's easily solved if you can grab a saddle valve from a hardware store (about $9) and punch another hole in the carto.

Edit: You'll have to throw away the burned ones. That taste will never go away.

All my burnt taste problem went away with the Smoktech Cartos when I switched to Condom filling. I put a few drops in the top end first and then Condom fill so that it's soaked the coils thoroughly. Then I blow the carto of any excess into a tissue. First few puffs I take are with no power and then a few Baby puffs with very short power button to get them wicking. No problems since. I hope this helps, I love the Smoktech Cartos

When you are filling the carto, are you completely saturating it to the point where juice starts to come out the bottom? If so, good. If not, then you might want to try and totally saturate the carto filler, then once you start to see a little bit of juice come out the bottom, gently blow it clear (from the top) into a paper towel. Then install on your PV and there isn't any need to hit the fire button a few times before vaping.
This is the only way I have found that I can be sure the carto is completely full and ready to go.

I think the best suggestion was to puff a couple of times without turning it on first. I filled the tank half way and filled the carto up with juice separately each time. I don't like filling a carto with the condom method. Instead, I take off the rubber tip on the top and drip directly into the carto on a 45 degree angle.

I didn't get any fruit flavours because I'm not too keen on using them as an adv and that is what I'm looking for right now. I want something flavourful that is rich and warm versus zesty, tangy or fruity. I'm currently using Chocolotto malted with disappointing results. The best tasting juice that I've had so far (and please note that I haven't tried all of my new juices yet and am still new to vaping) is Capuccino (24mg) from electro vapors.

I've had nothing but problems with smok DCTs and their cartos. I love cartos and tanks so I just slot boge cartomizers and made my tanks shorter. The first smok carto I ever used would only glow red. I could smother it in juice and nothing would get to the coil. In a pack of 5, only 3 on average would be any good.
Or it could be the juice....... Kinda like when I tried to make TFA popcorn and butter.
