Black finish coming off

I puchased the black Riva 510 in Feb 2012. I noticed recently that the finish gets scratched easily. I do live in Florida and I wear my pv on a lanyard under my blouse while at work. Unless I have atomic sweat (which wouldn't surprise me) I would think the finish would last longer. No worries, I scraped the rest of it off and now have stainless ones instead. Just wanted to give you a heads up just in case.

Yeah... that's not uncommon. Glad you figured out you can just sand the paint off, for fresh new look.

I tend to just buy steel batteries from the get go

When mine start looking bad, I spin it on a drill, and run sandpaper over it. It gives my batteries a fresh brushed steel look.
