black satan finish

Hey,

Heavily thinking about getting a provari with the black finish I'm just wondering hows the finish hold up?

other black devices i own wear out after a while, can any body let me know hoe their finish looks after using it for a while.

I just want to be sure before i invest that type of money.

I saw the black satin at ecig city in Laguma beach, and it looks AWSOME! I was told that the new finish was meant to last, unlike the chrome black finish on the previous model! I think it is a ceramic finish of some kind that is basically the same finish as the silver satrin finish which wears really well. I have the chrome finish but the new black is my new favorite!

They just introduced the new finish, so I don't think anyone can speak with any authority on how long it lasts, unless Provape themselves had testing done.

I didn't realize that it was a new finish, i thought that and the chrome were the same

either way i went ahead and ordered the evil finish, lol

It feels to me like some kind of powder coating.. Probably quite durable..

Ah, sorry. I've never seen powder coat that isn't very smooth and shiny.

The black satin has a smooth but not shiny finish. I love mine and its holding up great.

The coating on the ProVari, whatever it is, does indeed seem to be holding up nicely for me as well.. The Black Chrome I have was showing minute scratches and wear within a few days.. This V2, however seems so far, impervious.

Regardless, I'm not hugely concerned about the showing of wear marks as much as I am with how the device performs over time. If the V2 is 75% as reliable as the V1, I forsee a very happy future with mine.

Me too! Now I'm torn between my leather sleeve for it and rocking it naked, lol! I want to protect it, but I want to caress it too! Either way, I love this thing!
