Chrome finish

I noticed that the chrome finish on my provari is starting to wear off around the screen and was wondering if the body was made of Stainless steel ? I ask this because I was thinking of just polishing it to get a full SS finish . I know the end caps are SS but I'm not sure the whole thing is

I was told by a very reputable source (I'm sure he'll chime in) that it can in fact be polished to a mirror shine. So to answer your question, yes.

That's not what I asked , I asked if the main body is stainless steel , all metals can be polished to a shine but few will keep it for a long duration , anyone know ?

Contrary to what you might think there is actual no tone or in my sentence , your just interpret it that way . Also the last line of your post ( nor the rest of your post ) shed light on my previous inquiry .
