My partner has only found one flavor of e-liquid that he has ever liked: Virgin Vapor's Darjeeling Sweet Tea. The problem is the flavor is starting to taste "off" to him now, and he's back to using analogs part of the time now. We've been looking for another tea flavor for him, but the majority have fruit in them or the ones he wants to try are not currently available (i.e. Alice in Vapeland's Afternoon Tea or Ahlusion's Cha-Yen Cardamom)

Do you know of any (probably artisan) vendors that make a good black tea or something with a similar flavor profile? He would especially love a Russian Caravan or any of variety therein: oolong, keemun or lapsang soochang. I've read some DIYers trying tea flavors, and spent FOUR hours looking last night. I should say that he's tried PB Dragon's Black Knight and wasn't a fan and doesn't want a Earl Gray or a Chai either. He's by far the pickiest vapor I've ever encountered, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Racehorse. He does want to try Ahlusions, but their website is down. All the ROAR flavors we looked at had some sort of fruit (Earl Grey has bergamot and even the green tea had lemon.) I looked again though after you mentioned it. and they had a "simple flavors" section that did have plain black tea, so I think that will be one of the things we try.

Thank you again!

Hello, Sea! I like tea vapes so I've done my research on the subject. The reason that straight black is so hard to find is that it is a very difficult flavor and really has to be mixed with something else or it's very bitter--almost unvapable.

If you want to try it, I recommend Deejstuff. He carries straight black tea and Chai Tea ( plain and latte).

Black Tea - $5.20 : deejStuff eLiquid, The Apocalypse can wait...

Chai Tea Latte - $5.20 : deejStuff eLiquid, The Apocalypse can wait...

Good Prophets sells Dekang and Hangsen Black Tea.

Hangsen PG eLiquid 16mg - 10ml bottle Non-Tobacco

The only tea that is vapeable as is, IMO, is green tea, although I like mine with a touch of honey. Many vendors make very good green tea--including Deejstuff, Ahlusion, Vaperite, Vapor Station and NHaler (in their Lung line).

The Little bit of everything IS wonderful...check out the Oddities and c-room under others as well...you can register and place items in your cart ...and just check out on Tuesday nights

Sweet Tease in the oddity room tastes just like a perfectly brewed glass of iced tea with a touch of sugar and lemon...Afternoon tea is a wonder cup of black tea with honey to me

Katya: It's good to know about the research you've done about black tea being a difficult and bitter flavor. That totally makes sense. That explains why all the black teas have fruit or cream or are sweet. We might have to try some different green teas for him too.

KjAthena: Thanks for the info and the coupon code.

If there is a favorite tea, have you thought about making a tea extraction on your own. I have not tried it yet but I have read several articles on people doing it. Not really difficult. Just a suggestion. I am sure there are fifty-eleven tea juices to try and vendors that sell them. I just know I like the stuff I make better than what I buy. Good luck to you and keep up posted. :vapor:
