Black Tea?

I like the Black Tea from MVS and would like to get close to the flavor, I've got Flavor Art Black Tea concentrate but so far my attempts have been really nasty tasting and it's clear instead of light amber, even when I back off the %. Does anyone have any input?

I use TPA black tea and put a little honey in it and some EM...Taste good to me..I have never used the tea from FA

I've not used it either, but I can tell you color has no bearing on the percentage you should be using. I've found FA is usually best around 5%... they're super concentrated. If that still tastes nasty, go down (add more base) or up (a tad more flavor..rarely more than 10% recommended on these!) from there.
