Hi everyone. Haven't been around for a while but I do check in from time to time and will be here more often now that my construction business has slowed down and I have a chance again to start messing around. For those in the know, the book Angel of vape (sequel to Melvin Provario's Vape Mania) is expected to be released late fall / early winter this year. Anyhow, just made my first batch of DIY in many months so thought I'd share. Just made this up off the top of my head yesterday and it came out quite well. Was glad to find all the ingredients I got from Wizard Labs nearly a year ago are still as fresh as ever.
Here's what I did. You can tweak it all you like for pg / vg ratio or nic content. Mine is 30 ml of a 50/50 mix at 20mg nic.
6 ml 100 mg nic in pg
3 ml Blackberry pg / alcohol based (LA)
.75 ml Koolada 10% pg based (TFA)
.75 ml Menthol Liquid 10% pg based from Wizard Labs
15 ml VG
4.5 ml PG
I used blunt needles to measure it all out into a beaker first and then mixed it vigorously with a glass rod before putting it into a bottle to steep. vaping it now in a Vivi Nova on an MVP 2 with 2.5 ohms at 3.7 volts.
Very nice, light menthol with a splash of blackberry. None of the tastes are overpowering. Throat hit is average but increases with voltage. As good as anything I'd buy cut rate online yet it probably cost me less than three dollars to make 30 ml.
Enjoy.
