when i go to plug in calculations I get an error:
Your flavor PG base is too high -or- your PG Base setting is too low for the given "Target PG/VG" you indicated.
Remember: you also have the PG (or VG) in the Nicotine base to account for!

I have an already bought/ mixed 60pg/40vg then when I add my 5% flavoring, it gives me an error message?

Check the first line where it asks for your nicotine PG/VG ratio and add what your nicotine bottle says and then enter 60 PG 40 VG in the boxes further below plus 5% in the first flavoring box. What nicotine strength are you shooting for?

I will do it fo you but I need info. If I read correctly your nicotine is 60mg strength. Correct? What is your PG/VG ratio in your nicotine? Also what PG/VG ratio you want your juice to be example 50%PG - 50%VG, 70%PG - 30%VG etc

You are not entering certain required information into the calculator that is why you are getting the error

I agree with Merlin. But I would also suggest that you start with a smaller sample, like 5 or 10 ml.

I assume that you bought separate bottles of PG and VG?

I take it that your nicotine solution is 60 mg, and that it's 60/40 PG/VG. And that you want your juice to also be 60/40 PG/VG. And the final strength should be 36mg.

And you want to use 5% flavoring using your DoubleRY4.

Okay, I know I am assuming a LOT, but if all the above is accurate, we can proceed. Here's what I come up with using the ejuicemeup calculator to make 30 ml:

18 ml of your nic solution
5.7 ml of PG
4.8 ml of VG
1.5 ml of DoubleRY4

To make a test batch of 5 ml:

3 ml of your nic solution
0.95 ml of PG
0.8 ml of VG
0.25 ml of DoubleRY4

Hope this helps.

Thanks you did have it right.
Now if I can clarify.
I use 18ml of the 60mg nic that is 60pg/40vg
then I use 5.7 of my pg non nic
and 4.8 vg non nic
then 1.5 double ry
This will give me a 60/40 36mg ry4 mixture?

let it steep a few weeks

Now...second question. Is this any good? LOL
I've had hangsen ry4 and dekang ry4 and liked both.

I just need something stronger than 24mg in the morning when cravings are bad.

Anyone have a better ry4 recipe that they like?

my nicotine is 60mg ratio 60pg/40vg. I want double ry4 36mg 30ml 5% ry4.

How do you enter that in so it comes out right?

You can let it steep, sure. Or... you can try it right away, which is what I would recommend. Shake it really good, drip, and vape. If you don't like it right away, then steep it.

I thought there were a few on here that said the double ry4 is really good at 5%
Have you tried it before?
Thanks so much for your help!

I think he was also asking what pg/vg end ratio you wanted. For example, your base is 60pg/40vg, right? Well, when adding in flavoring, in this case, TFA Double RY4, you will be raising the overall PG of the blend, since the flavoring is PG-based.

If you wanted to retain the 60/40, you'd compensate with straight VG and PG.

Try it? It's my all day vape, my friend :) Got it loaded in the ProVari right now.

It's delicious, in my opinion. One of the easiest and tastiest flavorings I've tried so far.

good to hear:)
Is that all you do is add 5% double ry4 or do you add anything else?
I can't wait to try it!

I have tried a few variations. I will note some:

10% RY4 - this was odd, I mixed a bottle of 12mg nic, with no flavoring, and let it sit for over a week. Then, I added 10% Double RY4, and it was delicious! I eviscerated the bottle. So, I mixed another fresh bottle with 10%, and it wasn't the same :( So, I have been sticking with 5%, and it's great!

I also tried 5% RY4 1% Chocolate Fudge Brownie (Capella) :D I don't really think it's bad... but, it hasn't really seen a lot of vape time. I still have ~7mls left from the mix made on 11/24

I have tried adding sweetener to it (TFA), and really, it didn't seem to make a profound difference.

I read that some add more caramel (which type? I dunno), or more vanilla with good results. This is something I plan to do as well, pretty soon. For no other reason than pure curiosity. As is, however, good ole Double RY4 @ 5% is just perfect, for me. Thus why I say it's one of the easiest and best flavorings I've tried ;)

What Moonstruck gave you is correct. In the picture I am going to put up look at the first line where it asks for nicotine PG/VG and further down what PG/VG ratio you want your whole recipe to be and enter it there as well. Here is a pic of your recipe.

I would also echo other people thoughts that maybe you should try 10 ml - 15 ml first to play with and see if you like it so there waste is limited. Maybe make 5 5ml of the double ry4 and then leave one with pure ry4 and play with the other 4 you have left over with adding more flavors or tweaking

Oh and you got some heavy hitters in this thread giving you advice. Levitas, graffinfected, rule62, these gentlemen know their stuff. Having fun yet?! :)
