I am a returning customer to Ms T. I used to love the cotton candy. Back when I used it mostly exclusively I vaped tanks. I am now vaping DC Carts. I ordered a few different juices. I tried the pineapple upside down cake, and it just didn't taste right. I tried using it for about 2 hours but it never really tasted like much but chemicals. So I tried the cotton candy. I vaped it about 7 hours yesterday and 1 today. It tastes bland. I have had this problem before with a gummy bear flavor from another company, and when I asked on the FB page everyone who had tried it said it was very fruity. And I know cotton candy used to have a great taste. Is it my carts? Also I think part of the problem is my previous juice. Until yesterday I vaped a strong cinnamon fireball for quite a long time. When I had the issue with this gummy bear flavor people suggested maybe my taste buds were so used to that really strong flavor I'm getting this dull taste from a sweet flavor. Has anyone experienced this before? I think my best bet is to keep vaping and eventually my taste buds will come back, haha. Just want some more experienced opinions.

I'm experiencing that right now in fact I just posted about it too lol. I barely taste any of my used to be flavor anymore...is so frustrating. I'm hoping this bland phase goes by quick cause I've got vapemail expected soon from aiv, mtbaker, and high desert. I feel your pain!

It could be any of those reasons :(

Personally I have experienced the same with cartos vs. clearos. I tried clearos once and the peppermint and peach were amazing! So crisp and flavorful! Then I went back to cartos and there was almost no flavor at all. I had to find new favorite flavors. I knew it wasn't the juice, but I couldn't find a good clearo to use (they discontinued the ones I had been using). So my vote would be the cartos.

Could also be the cold too. Mine tasted bland out of the mailbox when normally they're quite vape-able. I figured the burning hot temps of summer weren't speed steeping my juice for me anymore, and have stuck all my juices in hot water upon arrival now. It helped! Still took about 3 days to taste how I remembered them, so for now I'm blaming frosty delivery trips.

Well I can tell you it's cold as heck here. I was doing some pretty strong vaping when I was drunk so I felt my cart to make sure it wasn't hot. It was cold. Haha. I'll try heating them up. I had problems with clearomizers too. They seemed to always leak on me. I bought one recently that seemed good. Then I went to unscrew the cap and the part where it is connected just fell off. I was sitting there with my hand cupped full of juice and ran to the bathroom. Juice all over the battery, all over my hands and lanyard. Not cool. I am done with those. Once I run out of my huge stock of cartomizers I'm thinking of going back to tanks. They did leak occasionally but the taste was better..

Yeah, I'm about to jump back into the clearo world. Going to use up the bulk of my cartos and research what clearos are out there. I've already got a few in mind that I want to try. It's been a couple years since I've tried them and the technology is so much better now I'm excited and think they will work great!

Ugh, I'm going through the same thing. My vapes were tasting so bland for awhile, then the flavor came back and it was amazing! Now it's gone again, so frustraing =(. I use a dct tank currently, I've got 2 going right now so i can swap out the flavors but still, not the same. I have thought about trying clearomizers before but decided it was a no go because all the videos i watched on them i kept hearing everyone say they tend to mute the flavor which made it a definate no go for me. Any thoughts on this? Are there some clearos that are better than other? Preferrably one with a tank option?

You heard that clearos mute the flavor? I've never heard that. I find that clearos make the taste fresher and definitely clearer. The one time I tried clearos it definitely made the flavor 100x better! When I went back to cartos I had to find different flavors because the same juices I had been using and loved just had almost no flavor at all. Different clearos are going to work for different people, but I recommend getting several types to try out and find which ones work for you. I haven't tried any lately so I can't speak from experience, but from what I've heard the vivi nova is really good, if you can figure out how to use them. They are a little too advanced for me, they are tank-ish though.
I've done some research and I'm planning on trying Kanger T3 and Phoenix reborn because I like bottom coils. The Kangers will only fit Egos though or with an Ego adapter, but they have a tank. I have heard that the Phoenix can be a PITA to fill, but if they are as good as I've heard then it will be worth it. It doesn't have a tank. Best of luck on your search!

The vivi novas I have definitely mute the flavor compared to cartos. I've used both for a month all together. They are a pain as well. I'm going to try some of the excellent looking carto tanks from valley view vapes now.

I think op your problem has more to do with tastebuds though than the equipment you're using. If you have any bland e-liquid, vape on that then wait a few days and I bet things will taste normal again. I've had the same thing happen to me and thought it was equipment but it was mostly my tastebuds being strange.

One thing I found was true for me is that the power (heat) I use to vape has a big influence on the way my juice tastes. DC cartos use more power, but the vapor in invariably much cooler. For me, a cool vapor doesn't have nearly the flavor a warm vapor does.

I tried Ms T's chocolate raspberry flavor on my old e-cig, and it tasted like dust. I tried it again after I got the ability to increase the power to my cartos and it was amazing. I don't go extreme - I've talked to people who use twice the power I use, and it's all that works for them - but I do go much warmer than my old e-cig could provide, and it works great for me. I usually run about 6.5 watts (4.5 volts on a carto rated at 3.1 ohms).

If you're using something like an eGo with a dual coil carto you're probably getting about 5 watts, but I can tell a distinct difference between 6.0 and 6.5 watts. A little change can make a big difference.

I usually run somewhere between 4.6 and 4.8 volts on a standard Joye 510 dripping atty at 2.5ohm. This puts me somewhere between 8.46 and 9.22 watts. I have noticed that once I start to exceed 10 watts, the flavor will begin to change on most flavors, some pretty drastically. If it is a particularly dark or thin flavor, I much prefer 4.6v or maybe even a tad less to run a little cooler. We have noticed over time that exceeding 10 watts does seem to go past the "sweet spot". We have even seen reviews of our juices at extremely high wattages. I saw one once where a guy reviewed and did not like our tangerine. I believe he was vaping it at 7.4 volts! Even on a high resistance atty of 4 ohms, this would still be delivering 13.69 watts! Well, no wonder he didn't like it. His device even sounded like a Tesla coil in the video. Unsurprisingly, it probably tasted like he was smoking a tangerine peel with a blow torch. I would never, ever recommend vaping any of Ms T's juices that high. Grossly overpowered may equate to better performance in your car or in your computer, but excessive power to an e-cig will only detract from the flavor experience unless that juice is specifically engineered to withstand very high temps without burning. We do not engineer our liquids for that much heat.

This is the really nice thing about variable voltage, in case some haven't "discovered" it yet. You can coarse tune it to a basic number of your choosing, based upon the ohm rating and power deli

I agree . I haven't been thrilled w/vivi's either . Which is not to say I dislike them , because I don't .

Also I know my taste buds need a rest once in awhile so vaping something mellow for a few days ( sometimes just for an hour or two) often helps.

I love the Phoenix Ce3's bottom coil! They are amazing. They don't leak and the taste is great. Even though you use a syringe to fill, are super easy to use and clean and last forever. I tried the kanger t3 and didn't like it. Leaks, not as flavorful, takes a while to break in, drip tip doesn't come off. I like Ce3 bottom coils better because I use mainly vg liquids and they wick great, you can vape the liquid right down and it doesn't burn. Only holds 1.6 ml I think, so I just have a bunch filled and I'm good to go.
