I mix a lot of my own juice, so use a lot of blanks. The last order I got had a pack of Gold (where's the silver!), and a pack of tan. Really love that they have the V4L logo on them now! I also had ordered 4 packs of premium flavors I love.

Is it just me but these new blanks work really great, the sizzle and crackle and vape up a storm. Not up to the level of the Premiums, but better than the white blanks I had last. Will have to try some of the other new colors to see if they all work this well.

Whatever Leaford is doing, keep it up!

One minor negative, the color of the tan cart really looks more like pale yellow to me.

Neko

Glad your liking these, we will make an actual tan color as well. We will also be making all new cartsomizers in premium, as well as making the premium, even better:thumbs:

Enjoy

Yea i just asked about it my last order i also ordered tan. Got pale green or cream color. They told me it was a mix up and owe me a pack of tan(analog filter) colored blanks. So it was just a lil mistake. But i noticed that the red ones i got work a lot better then the white. But ive ordered a lot and some boxes seem better made then others. Some are just duds. But its all part of the manufactoring process. Not every single one is perfect. Oh well, for the most part they work pretty well. Out of 4 boxes i only had two that were crap. So V4L gots me hooked on the blanks. I wish it was possible to get premium blanks!

Glad to see my eyes aren't that bad yet! I started back when they only had the black, hard to label. Love the new lighter colors that I can just use a fine tip sharpie to label. A few of the older blanks don't work to well, still have a couple boxes of white to use up, and considering how many times I refill them that might take a while. Especially since I found the backflow rinsing method.

I do think it's the manufacturing that has improved on the latest batches, and since Leaford said that V4L would be moving over to all premium, have to believe that blanks will also be on their way.

One thing in life that just keeps getting better! Helps to deal with so many heading the other way.

Hi NekoGurrl, how long to the blank carts last for refilling? I am new here and just bought blanks for my juice. So any help would really be appreciated.

Also what is the backflow rinsing method... ?

Thanks so much in advance! Lina

I have found I like refilling pre-filled carts better than blank ones. Most of the blanks I have used seem to burn hotter and do not last as long. Since I'm primarily interested in the numerous menthol flavors however, it's no big deal to refill them interchangeably with any of the menthol juices. If you boil them to remove any residual flavor, the clean prefilled carts still seem to hold more juice and perform better than the blanks. Maybe I got a few bad batches? Regardless of your taste preferences, it is well worth it to buy them loaded, use, clean, and refill, than to buy them dry for the same price in my opinion. :)

I easily get a week on a heavily used cart as long as I keep it well filled, I use a 5 volt mod a lot which can cook a cart if you don't keep it topped off. Don't vape your cart dry and it will last.

The back flow rinsing was a method I posted about in http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...d-new-cart-cleaning-method-shows-promise.html. I use this method for cleaning both my carts and 901/510 atomizers. I do some DIY and need to clean atomizers often.

There are so many posts in this forum that things roll off pretty quickly.

I refill pre-filled carts as well, usually when I can't get matching juice to fill them. I have had a few bad blanks, but hate to say that I've had a few pre-filled that where sub par as well. But at the cost, I just write them off.

Why I wrote the review is that this latest batch of blanks are working better than all the previous blanks I've gotten, and worth a try if you have some diy juice to try...:D

I'll give the new ones a chance on my next order, anxious to see if they will offer premium blanks in the near future too.

PS: Good to see another cheesehead on the board :)

I'm looking forward to the premium blanks also! Got a week out of this gold one, refilling 1-2 times a day. But it's finally starting to get a little weak. Will give it a rinse and that should revitilize it for a few more days.

We've got 3 Wisconsinites just on this thread, quite a few on the forum. There is a community group: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/behind-cheddar-curtain/ that Vicks Vap-oh-Yeah started a while back.

I noticed that my recently bought blanks were better also. Higher quality... more consistent. The logos are great too!
The only negative thing I've noticed though is I have to rinse them before I use them. They seem to have a strange taste if I don't. It's probably all in my head but I wonder if there is something they put in the batting to keep it "fresh".

OT, hope this isn't a stupid question NekoGurrl, but I can't access the comm group; do I need to pm Vicks to register or something? Thanks in advance :)

I've tried to access that community on and off for a month or so. Every time I click the above link, it says I do not have permission to access that page....

You can find the group from User CP under social groups, but it will just say you are not a member of this group. I cannot find any option to join or request membership, perhaps it is via invite only?
