Out of curiosity i skipped to the last page of this forum and read the (now closed) threads. Those POOR FOLKS! Thread after thread comparing the njoy to the ecig brand. I will never, never feel sorry for myself over crappy clearos again!

Because it was a closed thread I could not use the quote feature but read this post dated Mar 28,2008:

My experiences so far
Pen-like from e-cig: When I first received it stopped working after a day. I rinsed it with alcohol, dried it with a hair dryer and it's been working better and better ever since. I also bought a 50ml e-liquid bottle and a smaller 10ml bottle with the push button to drip. So far the product has lived up to expectations. For some reason this e-cig has been improving since day one.

Pen-like from dealextreme. The first one I got was really difficult to get smoke out of. You had to puff like crazy to get just a small amount of smoke. So I sent it back and they sent me another. The second one has one battery that does not charge and the atomizer is not any better. Maybe I have been unlucky but for 30$.... I'm not sure if I will go to the trouble of returning it, I'll just keep the cartridges, they fit the e-cig. The battery does not fit though, different thread. Cheap product overall.

Semi-automatic cigar from dealextreme. Now this one is really surprising. As much smoke as the e-cig but the taste is really bad. So I replaced the wool in the cartridge and filled it with e-liquid and now it's fine. The battery lasts for a surprisingly long time. You have to push the button to activate the atomizer but I think it actually helps to make more smoke. You don't have to suck right away so smoke builds up in the atomizer before you puff. For some reason, you exhale less smoke than with the pen-like even though I use the same wool and liquid in both. That's a mystery I haven't figured out... yet. Great value for the price. 25$!!!

NJOY. Well, everyone seems to say this is one of the best. The build quality sure is up there but the one I received simply does not work. I recharged the batteries overnight and still nothing. It did make one small puff the first time I tried it, but nothing since. NJOY is sending me another atomizer so I will let you know how it compares with the others.

Conclusion. Right now my favorite is the pen-like from e-cig. A very close second is the semi-automatic cigar. The biggest problem with all of these products is the lack of consistency from one puff to the next, not enough smoke compared to cigarettes and not enough taste or "tingle" in the throat. You DO get nicotine though, not doubt about that. Good luck all.

God bless them I hope they stuck with it and are still smoke free. We should be thankful to each of them!

Ugh, good post. Njoy was my first e-cig, not a good experience.

Gosh, i think of the frustrating non-satisfactions of hauling away on those gas station models just a couple of months ago. I feel certain I would have thrown in the towel with nothing else to choose from.

Most of us found this forum out of desperation w/the cig-a-likes... can you imagine searching for something better only to find out that there isn't anything to be had? Very much like a Twilight Zone episode. :(

I was there and made it...had no idea at the time things would get as good as this. Now I wonder how good the future will get. Glad I never gave up on the PITA e-cigs

Its funny to think I spent less on my provari than I did outfitting myself with enough pen style kits to make it through the day!! And oh how I don't miss playing "battery quest" where you had power strips with chargers so you could charge 12 batteries at a time....
