Mike I had the same issue with my button protruding and the led sticking way out on my silver buzz. I've since sold it and am thinking of buying another one. Is there anyway we can make sure we don't get one like this? It really does hurt the finger or thumb you use to press the button. By the way, I did try and push the led back in as suggested but it didn't work.

Harpo the NEW units use a rubber button ( Like the original design ) and it sticks out further than the Black buttons , we recess the LED in a bit further also .
This applies to the all except the red and gold ones they are the older design.

harpo, I am actually going to try and just deal with the fact that the button is set so far back in the hole. The thing that concerned me the most is that the Peach is for my elderly mom. She is a diabetic and her fingertips stay sore anyway but I gave it to her today since she has been waiting awhile and will see how bad it gets to her fingers before sending it back. None of my buttons seem to be rubber at all. Feel like hard plastic.

Mike, I know that you are waiting for parts on the 510s but will the part shortage also effect sending out my Peach (808) exchange? I am hoping that button will be set better and I will give it to my mom when I get it.

Clumsy, I know how hard it is to wait for something like this but it will be SO worth it!

BTW- I think that my mom nailed the "peach" color. She thought it was copper and I have to agree. Very nice color!

With the black button we have to trim it to lenght and it is not always so accurate ( we try to be but were human ! ) the newer ones use a rubber button that sticks out further .
Let me know how it goes , we will work it out one way or another .

Hmmmm... mine are new. I just got 4 in the past 2 weeks and waiting for the # 5 replacement. I will let you know if it continues to be a problem. Thanks.
