Hi everyone. So my question is am I doing something wrong or should I be mixing my flavors a different way?
I noticed my flavors are decent after I mix them or at a few days after. But trying to get the most I let them sit on my counter open for a few weeks. Shaking them

Now I don't really like any of them
I use flavor apprentice flavors. Wizard labs VG. I measure all my mixes with a syringe.
I mix all my juices. At 15%
I started at 10 thought they need more flavor and I went to 15
Like I said they're decent when I mix but after weeks or a month I'm not diggin em.
Also a friend of mine Told me I should mix water into them for better clouds?
I'm already at 85% VG/ 15pg given the flavors are of base.

Thanks for all the help in advance. I just ordered bigger quantity's of flavor to make bigger batches.

Breathing (leaving the bottle open) is only required for some flavorings and will actually mute flavors of others. On top of that, most that do benefit from breathing usually only need 12-24 hours. Additionally, not all juices/flavorings benefit from extended steeping, and those that don't should be used soon after mixing, or perhaps kept in the fridge after mixing if you need to make large batches.

I find water useful for thinning high VG juices to make them wick better, but have not noticed much difference with cloud formation.

Stop going over 7% on flavors
ONly thing over 7 is an RY4 @ 10%
The more flavoring, the more perfumey the vape...(eewmofo)...lol.

Go here, get some tried n true recipes
, and have at it.
Stop keeping your bottles uncapped...only good for 24 hrs. at best.
Not needed if you don't go over that 7% mark for the most part.
p.s
get a stir plate !
my vid i did other night may just help u out.

I use over 10% flavoring for most of my juices. Places like FA do not need anything greater than 3%, but with TPA, Cap I need to use a greater percentage. I find that a lot of TPA/Cap needs to be at 15% to have a good, strong flavor.

So far I find that my juices taste best after sitting for at least 2 days. I've been mixing fruits exclusively so they don't require the steeping that bakery type juices do. If I had a magnetic stirring plate it may not require the 2 days, but I find that it takes around that time for the different flavors to blend as I only shake them after mixing.

Having recently gone through what you are going through:
-Hight VG has (to me) sweet/metallic aftertaste, try vaping straight VG and PG so you know the base flavor
-Test each flavor individually
-Google the flavors you are using for guidance on the sweet spot percentages, ie how much do other successful recipes use of that flavor?
-If you like the fresh taste of a juice, then by all means don't accelerate aging by leaving the cap off or by letting it be exposed to heat/light AND mix small quantities so you are generally vaping it before the onset of the flavor you don't like
-Make very very small batches until you have something that you really like after it ages...my current standard now is 8ml for a test batch
-Keep a reject collection. I have a "fruity", "creamy" and "tobacco" reject bottle...the junk goes in there and I occasionally vape the Frankinstien juice that forms and am often surprised. Right now I am vaping an atty of my "tobacco" Frankenstien juice and it is pretty awesome (many many flavors in there...black cherry, cream, RY4, Honey, Hazelnut and on and on).

That is true. That's why I asked what I was doing wrong. It must be the VG base I use. I got it from wizard labs.
I believe its their in house stuff
I did try to Vape it. It wasn't smooth at all maybe that's the issue.
I've only ordered from TFA for now so when these new flavors get here I'll start lower % again.
I will also only keep the caps off over night.

Thanks guys. I'll look into a stir plate. Would be handy.
I do prefer syringes with my mixes. I have a 30 mil one that doesn't take long and its more precise unless you know specifically the. Ml per gram weight.
Like I said I started at 10% flavor and all other VG and I didn't like it. .

PG & VG....go here...16oz...for 3.99....are u kidding me? lol all 100% kosher USD grade...dog..
