I do a lot of driving, and I like to vape while I drive. Since switching to the RBA's, the big lament was the loss of the blind squonk. I switched to a visual squonk, looking for the first sign of juice at the air hole while squeezing the bottle. Of course, this isn't very practical while driving.

Well, I thought to see what happens when I blind squonk the RM2. Of course, that familiar gurgle and increase in draw resistance that we're used to with disposable atties doesn't exist with these RBA's. Instead we get a steady draw that offers seemingly no feedback of your juice level. But wait, try it again. Squeeze the bottle and take a couple short, sharp drags. At first there's nothing, but pretty soon you should recognize a change. When juice enters the chamber and reaches the level of the air hole, the sharp whistle of your draw will become a sharp slurping sound, like the last sips of your soda through a straw. The more juice in the bottle, the faster you will hear the slurp, less juice and you will have to hold the bottle longer, but it will happen.

Now release the bottle as soon as you hear the slurp and vape away like a champ.

Just a word of caution... Its best to make sure your atty drains excess juice well. If it doesn't you can get some leaking from the air hole. With the RM2 make sure the coil is well above the juice hole and your wick isn't blocking juice from draining back into the bottle. And for the love of God, make sure the air hole is pointed ^UP^ while you're vaping.

I've been at this for a couple of weeks now and it works flawlessly for me. I've tried it on the RM2, Hornet and Chalice and they all respond similarly to this 'Blind Squonk'.

I'll add there is a slight risk of slurping juice into your mouth. Make sure to stop drawing as soon as you notice the first slurp, and if your bottle is more than half full, just give it a very light squeeze.

And after reading what I just wrote I cannot wait to read JACK's commentary...

It works ! Thanks Joe.

It would appear that you're talking about a subject that is unknown to men and exists only in the hopeful minds of women... foreplay.

Lisa has requested that in the future would you please confine your posts to subjects within the world of vaping... there are other forums more suited to your wandering mind.

And stop using the term, blind, the new, politically correct description is, sight challenged.

Thanks for posting. Thanks to Commie yesterday & your post, I now know what "blind squonking" really is. What I just assumed it was is different. I squonk without drawing air simutaneuosly. When I feel it's time to squonk, I squonk lightly & then draw air to get an idea of how much juice is in my atty. Been doing that ever since & I quickly got the hang of it after flooding my disposable atties a number of times. I even got it down for different temps of the day as now it's starting to hit 100° around here. Been doing well with my Ciscos & RBAs.
