Blinking Red Charge Light ? Rapidfire WF-188 Charger

I just received my new precise 16340. I purchased 2 AW IC rechargeable ICR123 750mah batteries. I purchased the suggested RapidFire Charger WF-188. I placed the battery in the charger and the charge light starts to blink red. What's wrong with it. Unfortunately the charger didn't come with a manuel. Is there something wrong with the charger?

Only thing I can think of is to make sure you have the positive end where it should be.
