I still have one of those little Cabelas plier thingies laying around somewhere with a darning needle stuck in the scabbard.
If you run a wire up through the carto every time you refill the tank, they will sure last a lot longer.

Be aware that there are bottom coil cartos out there. Wire trick will likely destroy them... although I don't know if there are any bottom coil tank cartos.

The OP said they were using Boge cartos, so the wire works fine.

But in frustration may switch to a different brand, and there may be others reading the thread with the same issue, who are using different brands.

That's been my gripe with just about every carto I have tried. It's not about the money - it's the high maintenance nature of the devices I don't like/never got used to... I gave up and went back to attys. And moved on to Kanger bottom coil clearo-anything.

I have two ISmoka BCC clearomisers and the sweet/dark liquids were clogging the head in .5-1.5 days. I switched to cartos b/c they were cheaper than the BCC heads. Cartos also offered the flexibility to use them w/ or w/o a tank.

6 days was the longest I ever got out of a carto. And the last 3 of those 6 days was more screwing around with it than vaping it. To each his own.

I agree with the sentiment.

For me, cleaning a carto with a tooth pick for a couple days was better than throwing away a clogged, burned BCC head after 1 day.

Perhaps the real solution is for me to stop using sweet/dark liquids.
