Great story and one I was living. COPD was kicking my .... but not as bad as you yet.
And, as time goes on, I hope things get better as they have for me.

Also hope you can get the wife to switch!!!

It's only been five days and my body feels like somebody's rolled the clock back five years.

I think that I'm gonna tell the spousal unit that I should be able to spend as much on vaping as she does on smoking.

Welcome to ecf......just love success stories....A 40+ yr analog smoker here..... Hopefully your other half will see the improvement in you and want to try it herself.....OR if you like to compete, make her a deal......whomever spends less in a given time(ecigs vs analogs) has to take the other out to dinner....or something like that. Just a thought tho. You sound like you are on the road to recovery......Once your taste buds come back you might find you no longer like a certain food or something that you always used to......
Any way glad you found us......please keep us posted on your progress....

Wizard . . . WELCOME to ECF - the friendliest community of people you will meet and one of the most helpful places on the web (Well, as far as I'm concerned) and just know IMHO, that you made a great choice to come here.

Very interesting story (another one similar to mine, 40+ years 2 1/2 - 3 PAD Smoker w/COPD and many other diagnoses) . . I have yet to really start my trip into the "World of vaping", because I'm still looking for that one Flavor that satisfies my need for a "True" Menthol Taste - but I know I will, as "Hoosier" said - Find that WOW ! ! ! ! And so will You - hopefully soon

Someone pointed me to lolady's blog in a PM this morning - she seems like an amazing woman.

On the spousal unit - I really love strong women and am married to The Stubbornest Woman On The Planet. When she's ready she'll check it out - right now I think I'll lead by example
