Nicotine can raise blood pressure but you were getting nicotine as a smoker right? So there may be zero connection between the vaping and your blood pressure.

18 to 24 is a bit on the high end. I was a two pack a day smoker but vape between 9 and 12. Half as high. Try cutting your nic, yes but, remember sometimes two things that happen around the same time can just be coincident, not related. My sciatic nerve has been acting up. I doubt vaping has anything to do with it. :)

Far as effect of vaping on blood pressure, I'm 52 and my blood pressure fell back to 110/65 which is where it was in college. Nicotine alone doesn't seem to have as negative an effect as when combined with the other 4,000+ chemicals in tobacco smoke. Most people on ECF report reduced BP after switching. And, by the way. I'm a heavy vaper. I like my vape. :)

Yah, I'd try lower nic but also, don't assume vaping is the only possible cause. A lot of things can cause elevated blood pressure.

Well a lot of what you are experiencing may be attributed simply from your body going through detox from not smoking. Throw in changing over to vape, and trying to find ones preferred juice blends, ratios, nic levels, and yeah, body going into mass overdrive, healing adapting, confused by long dead nerve/sense inputs, long thought inactive......

Just a lot going on right now so a concise diagnosis is not vape possible. :D Some people will be intolerant or allergic to vaping high PG or high VG ratio juices. Personally found High PG juice to harsh, found 70-80% VG to be "my preference". And only by changing it up can one determine which is theirs. This I feel is one of the most frustrating thing about vaping, from a new vapers perspective, but quickly becomes a nonissue once resolved:D

Everything from oral, digestive, respiratory, circulatory.... every major bodily system designed to keep a human functional and running, is going through a major makeover right now, so best advice is, listen to your body, and follow it's instructions. :D

Hey say WHAT??? get laid get fraked feeling light headed a woozey, cut down the nic level, too much nic. Feeling stressed and irritable? umm nic level to low, you are jonesing for a smoke. bump up nic level by 5 mg, give that a try.

Irritation in throat, feeling harshness in vape? Well, what's your VG/PG ratio??? 35/65? change it to 50/50, still not right, go to 80/20, whoa, that's ain't it, woops wrong guess, go to 20/80. Some where along the way one is sure to find Vape Minerva. Least I did :D and that's all that really matters.

Once one is Intune to listening to their body, then it's time to listen to what one vape is trying to tell them. By noticing the subtle changes in ones vape, they can quickly diagnose the problem. Dry burn flavor, wicking or setting issue, or running out of juice and time to refill. Everything effects everything in vape, and the longer ones vapes, the better vape gets.

I smoked for 30 years, now a vaper for over one year. Body has stabilized and improved, all issues, health and vape, have been resolved, and quite frankly, life has never been so good or something like that :D

Vape long and Prosper.!!!!

Hi, The advice you have gotten is great, get a BP cuff and take your pressure at odd times during the day, write it down and keep track of what you wre doing just before you took it. Be sure to list what you ate or drank ie coffee, coke, ice tea ,esp energy drinks, chips, choc. note any increased stress or if you are retaining fluid( swollen ankles) Blood pressure is regulated in the kidneys and many things can effect these outside of nicotine. monitor this for at least a week, if you are still running high try not vaping for several hours and taking your pressure before and after vaping, this should give you an idea if it is increasing your BP by more than 5 points either way. If you have consistantly high BP over the weeks time go back to your Dr. and get a good check up. Keep on Vaping on :)
