bloog manual batteries???

does anyone know if bloog plans on coming out with manual batteries. I have both manual and auto batteries from V4L. I dont really like the autos but i do like the manuals. I bought some bloog cartos and love them!! now i want to try some of their batteries too.

Welcome Randine and happy blooging! And yes, according to Leaford's post below from 5/13, it appears that manual batteries are on the way:

78s of all colors except purple have now shipped, AND so have manual batts in all colors except purple and green. Best case scenario, they could fly this weekend and we'd receive them on Monday. Worst case, they don't make Saturday's flight and we don't actually get them until the end of next week.

Yeah, I had read it too, but didn't remember either. I just knew someone had asked about manual batteries recently in the Hey Leaford thread and searched for it.

Great that someone got that the button shouldnt be placed halfway down the batt.. I know it has to do with the insides n stuff, but allways thought, well then just rearrange it Get er done!

And now Bloog has. Thats nice, should i ever care for manuals.

As someone who is new to all this, can anyone explain to me why I would want a manual battery? I mean what is the benefit to having to push a button instead of just taking a drag? I realize that manual batteries are sealed and that may be of value for people who drip, but what about those of us that don't want to drip? Is this something I just have to experience first hand to understand?

It takes away from the cig experience, but gives you some control. You know autos can be airy or hard to draw on. Manuals are more consistant and you dont have to suck on it, just press the button and gently inhale, to get a mouthful..

also thes better aytos have not been on the market long... The older types were very dodgy and acted up. Activating on sound and getting fussy if thers gunk on the threads.....

We havent finished sorting all the boxes yet but they will be in all sizes, They have a 5 second cutoff and I dont believe we have any no led ones.

Even if you're only refilling your cartos, a sealed manual battery is a really good idea since it takes very little liquid leaking into an automatic battery to kill it.
