I apologize in advance if either of these questions have already been answered... but, does Bloog have any plans to release an XL (380mah) length battery for maxxfusion anytime soon? Also, does Bloog have any plans to release a manual version for the maxxfusion, either in regular size and/or XL size? and if so, when might these be released? and might they have a longer cutoff time? thanks!

There has been talk about maybe having a manual battery. I don't recall anything about an XL though. But never say never. The cutoff on the 78mm may seem short (5-8 sec) but you get a big ol' mouthful of vapor in that time. And if you pause for just 1 sec you can start up again. I don't think a 20 second cutoff is really needed with this battery+carto, the short time does the same job as a long time on others.

I just purchased a 78mm battery, and I have to say, I'm having a lot of trouble with it. I fully charged the bloog battery before using it and I am noticing that I have to suck extremely hard on the cartomizer to engage the switch, almost to the point where I'm getting a headrush/headache from having to pull so hard! And even when it does engage, I have to suck even harder to keep it engaged! The rest of the time, if just taking a pull with the normal exertion I use (and am used to having to take), the switch does not engage whatsoever and I'm just inhaling air. I'm assuming maybe there's something wrong with the airflow/holes/threading in this particluar battery I've tried this with several of the bloog RY4 cartomizers, as well as with several non-bloog cartomizers to troubleshoot. Additionaly, I've tried the same several bloog cartomizers on non-bloog auto batteries for comparison, and am having no problems, so it certainly isn't the cartomizers. Has anyone else had this problem? Or perhaps I received a partially functioning battery? I'm hoping that's the case, as I really would like this to work!

No doubt about it, you must have gotten a defective one. The MaxxFusion batteries usually have a great draw and super-fast switch.

I would suggest you email Chris at cs@bloogplanet.com and include your order number in the subject line. He will take care of it I'm sure. Just know they are a little busy now, so you might have to wait a while for a response, but you will get one. I hope it all works out well for you. You will probably love it when you get the replacement.

thanks slim! i already emailed him tonite. i'm sure he will get back to me tomorrow. he has already been very quick with responding to me in the last few days and has been very helpful so far. so slim, do you find that even if you take a "light" draw, that it will engage the switch, versus what i explained where i have to like strain and really pucker my lips, haha, to get it to engage?

Glad to hear you have had good experience with Chris already.

And yes, a light draw easily engages the switch. The MaxxFusion battery is the no strain or puckering zone. :vapor:

You definitely shouldn't have to pull hard on a BMF battery at all.

Just as a troubleshooting measure: There are two tiny slots in the sides of the "ashcap" (the end with the LED) that allow air to draw into the battery and activate the switch. Can you make sure those aren't clogged with anything (lint, etc.)? It's very strange to have a BMF battery have a hard draw, and this is the first I've heard of that problem.

Could it be the carto? Have you tried another one? Just curious. I have had one or two that I just threw away cause it was like sucking through a clogged straw.

Yeah they said they tried the carto(s) on a different battery and it was fine, and different cartos on this battery and it wasn't fine. Something's up with the battery.
