Soooo.... has anyone else received their order from this weekend, gotten a reply from an email to CS, or been able to reach Bloog by phone?

UPDATE: Finally got an email back from CS. Stated email earlier in the week was getting caught in a spam filter. They honored the coupon code (yeah!), think the lack of USPS tracking is a glitch from that day, no idea why the package didn't arrive (NJ to KY should easily be 3 days). While establishing communications is good, since I had it shipped to work the soonest it will be delivered now is Monday. (sigh) I hate waiting... :(... but at least have something to look forward to on Monday. :)

Chinner you got your order already? What in the world lol you are in freaking Canada and get your stuff before me? That is just wrong I say!!!

I was expecting my P-18 to arrive and the tracking did show NOTHING and I still had it in my mailbox today. USPS are just a bunch of weird folks but as long as they deliver my stuff I am a happy camper.

Hey WTQ.

To solve this problem, simply remove an S from USPS, leaving you with a simple streamlined UPS.

Pay said UPS $40, and like magic you have your package in 2 days!

Thank you thank you...... ;)

My package from Bloog arrived today! "Ultimate" starter kit w/non-tobacco sampler, 25 cartos and two spare batts. None of the batts were "fully" charged -- all needed about 10-15 minutes on the charger before it indicated full. I have my 510-T and eGo EDC here but started vaping the Watermelon carto as soon as the first battery finished up. I must admit, it's the first Watermelon juice I've actually liked.

The vapor is a bit warmer than I'm used to but not as warm as I feared it would be, and doesn't seem as dry as I usually get. Since I'm evaluating this not only for myself but what I might be recommending to others I'm sticking with this today at least until the battery dies or the carto goes dry. So far about two hours in and it's still going strong.

Filled up one blank carto with one of my favs, DFW Banana Moon Pie. Lost count of how many drops it took but I think it was close to 35 before a little juice showed up at the bottom. Blowing out several times only got maybe a drop out. Wiped it off and letting it sit until this Watermelon's used up, then we'll see how that tastes.

The standard PCC and regular case is kind of nice, but I think I'll miss my cigarette-pack style 510 PCC. Wonder if they make an 808 PCC in that style that holds at least four carts and two batts. If so, will have to pick one up.

As far as packaging, presentation, look and feel of everything, Bloog gets solid numbers. Vapor and taste are also pretty darn good. They do take a hit for communications/responsiveness and shipping speed... but then, I was spoiled by Cignot early on. :) Depending on how long cartos and batts last, pricing could be an issue down the line (and getting started, for anyone I might "convert").

But overall, with the whopping two hour's worth hands-on experience so far, I'll admit to being impressed and have high hopes for how this will work out. Will post more first-day impressions later, as long as it's not irritating anyone. ;)

"Get your Bloog on! USA
It happened to a lot of us. It seems like the email list database missed a lot of us that registered since the end of March.
I didn't get mine either. I'm going to email Mike and ask for mercy. I have had a big order saved up for the sale since the beginning of May and the talk about a sale. I didn't read forums for about a week and missed it like some of you did.

I do recommend that the sales are announced at least two weeks in advance since that will allow those with bi-monthly paychecks to plan a bit and be able to participate. I do realize that Bloog had been promising the sale for some time and probably felt pressure to do it sooner rather than later. but a sale on a holiday weekend with no CS available is probably always going to have more negative fallout than it is worth, in terms of customer satisfaction.

I love Bloog and I love all the Bloog peeps, but someone needs to tighten up the thinking cap!

dang how come i didn't receive any email bout the sale ? SUCKS ! so err when is the next sale ? hehe

OK, close to the end of the first day with the Bloog and I'm digging it.

First battery lasted for 3.5 hours of chain vaping that Watermelon. The Watermelon carto lasted about 4 hours before the vapor started feeling dry and just the slightest touch of scorched taste. My filled carto tasted good but had very dry vapor at first. Finally figured out that my needle-tip hobby bottle produces much smaller drops than a regular juice bottle tip, so the carto was nowhere near filled. Wonderful after getting it actually filled up!

Vaped the second/filled carto at a slower pace that before and got five hour's worth before the battery died - carto was starting to vape dry again about the same time. All in all, I'm pretty flippin' amazed.

The biggest surprise to me, though, is how much I like the warmer, moister-feeling vapor when the carto is well-juiced. Though the batteries are impressive, I'm convinced this is more the carto's doing. It's very much like the one very good Echo-e eGo carto I recently tried (unfortunately the only good one out of five purchased).

The only semi-disappointment is the standard Smart PCC. It works and it's a nice form factor, but took nearly four hours hours to charge the battery. The battery is 320mah and the PCC output is supposed to be 200mah -- it should take no more than two hours. So, not sure what happened there.

Aside from the PCC charge time, I must admit this is some well-executed hardware and I had a great first day with the Bloog.

Now to figure out what to do with all this 510 and eGo stuff. :) Since I think a big chunk of the magic is in the carto I'm seriously thinking about some 510 > 808 adapters to keep my eGo batts and PS Icon going (has anyone done that yet?) then maybe putting some 510 kits together to give away to a still-smoking friend or two who are waffling on making the jump. If that hooks 'em I can't wait to see what happens when I point them in an even better direction... :)

Thanks again for the sale, folks at Bloog! If it weren't for that no telling how long it would have been before checking these out!

Just wanted to note that you'll lose that "warmer" feeling vapor at 3.2V on 510 (or eGo) batteries with these cartos. They still vape pretty well, but it's the cooler vape of the 3.2V that keeps me from using the eGo stuff, even at home. These 808 batteries run a regulated 3.6V.

Aha. Makes sense, thanks for the heads up! Found some adapters for about $2.50 each, so will give it a shot on the Icon (which should be 3.7V) and the eGo batts and see what happens.

Watch out for fully charged bats (4.2V) on those. Sometimes you'll have to be carefull on the first few drags not to burn the carto. Depends on the carto, but can happen.
