I don't know about the rest of you, but I have a lot of questions about this new device. And, as I am an obsessive planner and hypotheticallizer to the nth degree, I thought I would pen a few questions concerning the upcoming release of this new Bloog battery.

Now, I am not really expecting any answers here. I understand that you may not have decided on all of them or they may take sometime to answer. But, I wanted to get them out there so maybe you could address them on the website when the item goes live.

How much is this bad boy gonna cost?

I am assuming at this point between $20 and $60. Probably around the $40 range.

What is the mAh of the battery?
I think in the video you said 280.

What is the volt delivery and is it consistent in all three modes?
Don't recall this being discussed in the video.

In pass-thru mode, I assume the dongle ends in a USB connection. While plugged into the USB wall adapter can I use it? While plugged into the USB car charger can I use it?
This would satisfy many people's desire to have a pass-thru device that they can use while plugged into a standard wall plug but I am not sure if it just charges while using those two adapters or if you can vape with it.

How long is the cord on the charger/pass-thru cable?
Please, oh please let it be longer than the standard pass-thru cable.

Does the new battery/device use the same "smart" chip present in the current iteration of the MaxxFusion Battery?
I ask because from all I have read and experienced it works better than most auto batteries and doesn't require the primer puff that many do. I would hope to have that same or better level of quality in this new product.

Is there any indication on the battery/device when it is fully charged?
From the video I could see LEDs galore. Just wanted to make sure I would know when I could use it plug-free.

Leaford, you indicated that this new device will be available for sale on Monday or Tuesday. Do you mean as early as February 7?
If so, HOT DAMN!!

I am sure that others have questions as well. Ones that in my newbie state I wouldn't think to ask. But if you can at least put answers to questions like these in a FAQ on the website it will dramatically cut down on the calls to your customer service department and create a little buyer confidence for obsessives like myself who spend hours researching something before they make a purchase.

Then you will be pleases to hear it will only be $30.

That's right.

It is a standard KR8 style, so should be 4.2v fully charged, 3.7v for the rest of its charge.

Yes for the wall adapter, and you can actually use a regular PT on it as well. And you can use the car adapter IF it isbat least 1.5amps. Ours and V4Ls are the only ones I know for sure are high enough amperage for PT use.

Sorry, regular length.

No, it is from a different manufacturer, which is why it won't be part of the MaxxFusion line. but if sales are good, we will try to get our MaxxFusion manufacturer to make their own version.

That was one part of my original design that they dropped; it was supposed to have a dual-tone led, turning red when low and while charging.

Instead, the blue led logo will stay lit while charging. When full, it should blink several times then go out.

That's my target. ;)

I think you might have got it mixed up a bit... the 'standard' PTs like the V4L's do not have a battery inline.. so you will get a higher current draw and require the amps you have mentioned

BUT if this Blood Triad ( :D ;) ) uses the usb port to charge the battery, I would imagine it is more along the lines of being like the Stick or the other type... meaning it is basicly a charging curcuit, and when you vape it will be using the battery within the device just as if it were unplugged.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but that is how I believe to see it.

You are correct, and thanks for pointing that out. I should also point out that it is not a 5v passthrough, for the same reason, because it isn't drawimg directly on the USB current.

Leaford,

Thank you so much for taking the time to address these questions. I guess I know what and when my next order from Bloog will be.

And its the Bloog Protean, cause it changes and stuff.

its the portable pass thru yo! PPT!

You know what? I'm not a stickler for the rules, I'll include those in the judging even though it's the wrong thread.
