Greetings!

Well today was my first full day using my 510. I felt I 'wanted' an analog but never really 'needed' to go smoke one. I got a kick out of sitting at my desk and reaching over to take a couple puffs whenever I wanted all day. I topped of my cart a couple times when I felt my vapor wasn't hitting as hard and then it was working again like a champ. Overall, 1st day went well until it was time to head home...

I topped off one more time for the road, started toward my car, and suddenly my vapor was gone. I felt my atomizer getting hot and thought, "oh no!" I've been reading lots of posts on here and I'm pretty sure that's not a good sign.

So...at the moment, I'm hitting the backup atomizer that came with my kit. batteries are charged and the backup is working like a champ. I just got done washing the 1st atty with hot, hot water and I'm letting it sit and dry.

Does this sound like a 'dead atty' or maybe just clogged?

Did you try blowing it out from the opposite end (end closest to the battery)?

Yeah - didn't really help.

Does it get hot at all? With my limited experience, I would say unless it is stone cold you still have a chance at reviving it. Let it dry thoroughly and see what tomorrow brings is the best advice I can offer.

Gets a little hot and even produces just a tiny bit of vapor for a couple draws. Tastes kind of nasty too.

I'll see what it does tomorrow. I already have a 3rd atty ordered and on the way. I'll contact the supplier tomorrow about a possible warranty if it is still acting up.

I use the 510 in the form of a Titan, I haven't noticed mine ever go into a cleaning cycle. I have 3 atomisers and all I do is clean them by holding a tissue over the open end, and blow through as has been mentioned in this post already. That will usually empty the atomiser of any surplus juice.

The Titan is a very thirsty e-cig, so I never allow my cart to dry out completely, as that too can cause the type of problem you experienced.

Topping up is fine, but as the cart holds a fair bit, its a good idea to take the filling out with tweezers, put 5-6 drops in the empty cart, replace filling and push it down about 1mm from the top, then add a few more drops.

I did this today with a fresh filling and the cart took 12 drops, which is a heck of lot, and as such it leads me to believe that a two or three drops of a top up, on a regular basis can cause the atomiser to burn dry filling, giving a horrid taste.

Enjoy your 510, I certainly have enjoyed mine.
