Well I came from 2 packs of pall mall's for 40 years (sometimes a little more sometimes a little less) and the disposables worked for me for about a month. Then I got one kit at Wallgreens and bought another of CL and they're all still in use. I do have a 5 v mod box and use it while at home on occasion. Honestly it's a little "hot" for me and goes thru juice like crazy. I recently picked up a Mistic kit and for what it is it works GREAT also. I still use my blu's daily and refill the carto. Not so high priced if you do that if you can find a juice you like.

Next time you're at Wal Mart try the "Mistic" 27 bucks plus tax 2 batteries, 3 cartos, wall adaptor and usb charger. now that's cheap. I've read they do work with all the 808 carto's but leave a small gap that only effects looks, not the functionality. I have had them for a couple weeks now and refilling the cartos is just a normal procedure.

I do still (and will probably always) Use my Blu's for certain situations. Their lightweight and easy to hold in your mouth "hands free" (now if we could just get them to go to the newer style battery like volcano). Anyway....good luck

We all know Blu has not-so-good batt. life. People that have already bought it choose to use it. I for one like it for it's size and their cartos are excellent! I buy them 4 at a time at $9.80 a pack. I do also have a rebranded ego(Diablo Falcon) and 2 Volcano Magma Mega batts.......but the Blu's aren't going anywhere anytime soon...lol.

If I ever find anything I like as well the classic tobacco blu, then I'll think about putting them down maybe..LOL Honestly I have used some 808's and while the batteries last longer, I couldn't really see any advantage to them. The Mistic is basically a rebranded type of battery that 808 carto's fit on, so I'm not sure what the advantage of a different 808 kit would be. I do agree that again because of the physical size the 808 carto's do give "more puffs".....

Since it's so horrible if you'd simply send it to me, I'd gladly pay shipping. I can always use more for Family that's liked mine. Need the address?? :p

I acually did sell it for reall cheap to a friend that wanted non nicotine (i ordered all non nic when i got it,)

And she rarely uses it, but its good enough for her, to use as a novelty i guess. Also she doesnt know there sbetter ones so she doesnt care.

I read up ALOT on e cigs when i first started, after gettin the blu so now i cant turn back, But i probbly would have been okay with it otherwise.

I think every point about the volt is valid except for maybe the shipping. While blu's shipping is slow, its completely free lol. Also they carry the high mg cartos at walgreens now, but of course they are way too pricey there!

I am in canada so shipping was like $20 for me they wont give me free shipping, the volt is like $5 to canada

I think BLU cartridges taste like crap personally. Not only do I not like them but they all taste the same to me NASTY! Everyone of them have that "original Tobacco" taste. Its what I think mildew would taste like and I was mainly using the menthol flavor (also tried the sampler) I was really not impressed if this is what an e cig smoking experience is I will be promptly going back to analog's.

Hey! I've noticed that in the sampler ALL the flavors are mixed up into grossness! If blu is the kit you currently have try a different flavor! They don't all taste that bad, and menthol and tobacco are my least favorite...but seriously the sampler pack ones are just bad. The menthol to me have a weird aftertaste. Don't base the ecig on blu! PM me if you have questions.

I knew not to expect much from them but its crazy when you see a ton of great reviews for the blu try it and thts what it taste like. Also I bought a seperate cart pack and it was the same nast taste.

So good to read this thread -- I have had incredibly mixed experiences with the blu -- one battery will last forever, another will last a half-hour. Then I've had a really annoying problem with the cartos -- You change the battery to a fresh one, and the carto stops working! Or, unscrew it a little so it's not charging through a a plane or movie, and come back.....I have to screw and unscrew it about five or six times before it "takes" and starts puffing. Bizarre and annoying. Don't hate the flavors, but don't love them either.

One thing I will say -- the disposable blus are great. Last a long, long time -- like a couple of packs -- with steady performance and good flavor. If only they could get that to translate to the rechargeables.

Can anyone tell me where the best place or website is to buy these things from? Preferably a site with reviews?
