You've been on this forum a long time now. Why would you order a Blu?

I started out with a Volcano which is the same model as Blu (L88b). I still use it as my "at work" device and while I'm out doing stuff. It still runs like a champ and fits my style perfectly.

The model is good for what it is. Some resale companies (Blu) suck but that shouldn't reflect on the product. Volcano has been good for me and I'll continue to recommend them to my friends.

I do owe Blu one thing though. If not for them taking forever in processing my order, I would never have found Volcano. I had plenty of time to order from them and cancel my Blu order. :)

The Blucig was my first e-cig. The two batteries would not hold a charge after the first two week of using the product. They shipped out 2 new ones right after my phone call to them.

Then they had the problem with the Blu pak and informed everyone to stop using immediately. This posed a problem for me because I had stopped buying analogs when my Blu arrived.

During the time that I waited and went back to analogs, I had read hundreds of posts about the "Chuck". I put in my order with Jeff, ordered the proper batteries, atomizers from AltSmoke and DIY mixing kit from George and Dawn at DIY Flavor Shack. The replacement Blu charging pack arrived two weeks after I had started using the Chuck.

Since using the Chuck, which was my first mod, I have been analog free for two months.

The Blu sits there on my desk, unused. I have used the atomizers in my chuck with the remaining Blu cartridges.

By mixing my own e-juice instead of the Blu carts, I have saved a great deal of money.

Good Luck

Yeah customer service seems to be so poor with the most easily found suppliers.
Trick is to find someone who stands behind their product, which is where I got lucky.
If I get something wrong in my order or have something break, I get replacements next order, without having to return anything. But I'm still wary about buying stuff online, too many dodgy people out there, but it's posts like yours that help the rest of us steer clear, thanks.

Your welcome :)

I mean honestly I have no issue with the Blu except they want to charge me for something thats not even in stock. If its not in stock simply don't sell it! its false advertisement in my book. Really nerve wrecking for me, and no paid postage? nope, not playing that game. I'm going to attempt sending it back tomorrow... hopefully.

My nephew got a blu cig for Christmas and the pack won't hold a charge any more. I ordered him one from Volcano. I hope it works better.

I don't know who their webmaster is but the person really needs to be fired. Most of the links don't work. No pictures to see what you are ordering. Very unprofessional.

Never again. We learned our lesson.

EXCITING NEWS!!!!!

Blu vs. Ash.... guess who won??? :D

Well I got a little suprise today.... a paid postage for me to send the product back! Ah victory at last! Took them long enough!

Now I'm trying to get my guy to lean more towards Volcano. Hes in love with the blue LED light though :(

Either way, I'm sending Blu. Hopefully get a refund and go for Volcano.

Yea but I'm not about to dare on asking for an exchange from Blu. I worked hard to get my paid postage lol.

Thanks for the advice Fire but my guy is happy with the size of Blu and the weight of it. Is there anything I can find with the same kinda model but not a red LED light?

I'm not giving up though, I'm still leaning towards volcano, at least they offer blank carts.

I've heard good things about Volcano's service, but id rather lean to something that isn't the same model as the Blu.

So have I, but everyone is different. Some people prefer their e-cig not look like a real one, some would rather it look the same.

Me, I just like how light it feels.

I'm a very happy Volcano customer and bought all of my hardware and carts from them. But I did buy a single Blu battery because I do like using a blue LED when I'm vaping in public as I think it draws less attention from proprietors. And I ordered that single battery during their 4-6 week shipping delay, and I actually received it in less than a week (shocking, I know!).

But if you're adamant about not giving Blu any more business (which would be understandable), Volcano has been saying they're going to come out with other color LEDs in the near future. So maybe just go with them and check in periodically for the new batteries.

Personally, I like the BLU and have had excellent customer service from them. (One of the batts didn't work and they quickly exchanged it.) It's not my only e-cig, but a nice little addition to my collection. It's also one of the few vaps that doesn't make me cough. I like the Java and the Menthol, although I could see buying some carts from Volcano in the future because they are cheaper.

I'm new, and no expert, but I have a bunch of these now and think there is a place for the little BLU. On the road, it's easy to pop a new cartridge on, (no refilling), it's small and inconspicuous. But I also love my other e-cigs.
