First of all - Thanks to everyone who left me great opinions and advice in my last post, and especially to the lady who called me a "Really fast learner" =D I like to think of myself as intelligent!

I'd like to post this is the review forum, but right now I can only post here. I won't post my entire review - I'll wait for more access to do that. But I really can't wait to say this about the Blu.

A lot of people have been saying the following:

a. Their customer service SUCKS.
b. Shipping took a decade!!
c. They LIED to me!!

Well I just want to say that my experience with Blu could not have been more different.

Before I ordered I had asked customer service a bunch of things, and they were extremely kind and met my questions with ease.

Albeit, they do take a long time to answer simple questions. My guess is they are sitting in front of their little keyboard with a giant book of possible questions and their corresponding answers.

So anyway, I ordered my Blu starter kit on the 27th of December. The order 'processed' for like 3 days, went to shipped on the 30th. On the 2nd of January, I had still not recieved my tracking number, so I contacted customer support and they were able to pull up my tracking number.

I got my starter kit two days later. (yesterday) for a grand total of ..... 8 days! That's not too shabby! Especially for it being the holiday season. And remember - a TOTAL of 8 days. It went from ordered to here in 6 business days. And the customer service was always spot on.

Now I do have some issues with the device itself. But I just wanted it to be known, that blu customer service and shipping, was excellent.

ymmd.
- Sal.

Is there *ANYONE* out there with a GOOD experience with the blu?

Thats good to hear! I ordered a starter kit for my cousin on the 31st before I saw all the negative reviews. Unfortunately at the time I ordered, the black kits are on backorder for up to 3 weeks.

Hopefully he'll get them sooner, though...

And I saw a thread around here on how to make the blu's better by using interchangeable parts

Hi Sal,

Purchased a starter kit from them about 3 weeks ago. Had no problem with shipping (took about 4 days). Have since ordered a ton of cartridges, atomizers and an extra battery. Based on what I read, I was afraid to be without supplies due to previous shipping problems. I have spoken with customer service twice (question about faulty atomizer and mistake I made ordering wrong strength cart). No negative comments about customer service. The only bad I can say is that carts seem to be inconsistent. Some are filled well while others seem to be only partially filled. The company has now lowered expectations to 5 cigs in each cart which kind of bummed me out since I was really looking to save a lot $. Not sure if their atomizers are up to par either (think I might have already killed 2 even thought they look clean). Being new to this, I am experiencing some technical problems and am kind of lost in the wave of information on this site. To clean or not to clean, to dip or not to dip, that is the question. Everyone seems to have their own view on this, so trial and error will be my guide.

Or
I purchased a kit from them a couple of months back, I didn't initially have any problems with the shipping or customer service, I had a dead battery, they shipped out a new one. Then they hit a 4-6 week backorder on just about everything that they had, since I couldn't get cartridges, I went back to smoking. Needless to say this was before I did more research, and didnt' realize I could buy some that I could refill.
So now I'm back to trying again, and have ordered a different model from a different company. So I'll keep my blu as a backup.

Also, when I got my first blu, it was awesome, strong taste and strong vapor. I ordered a couple of more batteries and a couple of atomizers. When the new atomizers came in, I'm not quite sure what was wrong with them, if they had been redesigned or what, but they had a ton of air going through them, barely any flavor and made a whistle sound. My husband laughs at me everytime I use it now. So I have to hold it right where the cart and bat meet just to keep that annoying sound down.

I actually had a great experience with blu, for my first pv. Ordered it and got it in 4 or 5 days and everything was correct. My problem with the blu is batt life and vapor production, as well as the fact that the carts are only refillable-ish. In the long run the 510 is a much better investment, I purchased two starter kits with 2 full setups each for only ten more dollars and they are more comfortable in your hand IMO. Combine this with better vapor production and the "refillability" and it's a hands down decision. But I will give blu this much, they did honor their 30-day money back guarantee and bought me a couple of 510s. Thanks BLU.
