Ok, so I know blucig gets a bad rap (including from bad experiences by yours truely), but one thing that is undeniable is the deliciousness of their flavors. I haven't had a menthol or cherry (or even tobacco) quite as tasty as those crappy little carts. I'm scared to order cherry without some feedback first, because I hear that it tastes like cough syrup in a lot of places.

While I'm at it I would like to know if there is a grape or watermellon, or apple flavor out that tastes more like their Jolly Rancher counterparts. I ordered a grape flavor from somewhere and it tasted kind of perfume-y. It was ok, but not what I wanted. I also ordered a strawberry from Joye, and it tastes more like strawberry pocky (biscuits). Again, good, but not really what I want.

So as it stands my regular vape as of now is a 30ml bottle of winston that I bought from ruyandirect. It's delicious, but I'm getting tired of it.

I want more "juicy", or candy-flavored juices. Any suggestions?

http://www.esmokeronline.com has a good grape and watermelon. They are 8.99 per 15ml bottle. They are a good mix. I have reviewed several of their liquids and have just recieved the grape and watermelon to review the other day. I have had them for three days now and they are real tasty. The grape is like a grape soda flavor and the watermelon is almost spot on. The watermelon does not have alot of throat hit but there is a throat hit. The grape has a good throat hit. I was also given a coupon code with this last batch. If you enter technosmoke at checkout you will get 10% off your entire order as opposed to the 5% by using the ECF code. The shipping is fast also. I would also recomend shaddock. It is my favorite and he is the only one I have seen with it.

i just finished video reviewing an order from eastmall, and the watermelon there is pretty dang delicious... vaping it right now! their coconut is also spot on and strong. the apple does taste like biting into a red delicious, and the pear tastes like you took a bite from a pear cobbler... kinda sweet but there
That's interesting to hear -- about the watermelon flavor. Some Dekang juice I ordered from a Chinese supplier months back was just excellent. But I ordered more of it a couple of months afterward and it was a major disappointment -- weak flavor. It wasn't a strong flavor when it was good, just tasty. The second batch was just not good. Since then I've heard complaints from other forum members about certain batches of Dekang stuff (I think that's what Eastmall carries). I got a batch of their pear-flavored liquid that was horrible. It had a "rotting" taste to it. First time I've had that problem with any e-liquid. I threw it out! (Something I never do with e-liquid -- it's too expensive. But this was not worth keeping. There wouldn't be any way to 'doctor' it to make it any better.)

So maybe Dekang have seen the error of their ways and the quality is back up to where it was before.

hmm, that's no good. So what you're saying is there is no sure way for me to get a guaranteed good flavor?
Well, I'm not willing to make a categorical statement about it... for one thing, I don't know how much of my own problems with not-flavorful-enough e-liquids is a function of my aging taste buds.

When I started out vaping I was ready to call it all good, flavor-wise. Then I hit that uninspiring batch of Dekang watermelon -- and got majorly bummed out when I got the truly nasty batch of Dekang pear-flavored juice. Then again, Kingofyo1's recent review of Dekang pear e-liquid (which he got from Eastmall) makes it sound pretty freakin' good again. (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-reviews/36878-pear-eastmall.html)

There's another factor w.r.t. flavors that seem weak. Old geeks like me seem to have problems some days where their taste buds play tricks on them. Some days, flavors aren't as flavorful as they once were. (I read an article months back that said this business of diminishing sense of taste in older people -- I'm practically Neolithic -- is behind the appearance of new, stronger flavors in food -- chipotle pepper flavoring, for instance.)

I smoked so much for so many years that for all I know my taste buds are permanently on the rocks. Adds yet more confusion to the mix...

So while I don't want to make the whole business sound hopeless, I don't know what to think right now about getting consistently good flavor in these e-liquids.

ok so eastmall and esmoker. What are your opinions on ruyandirect (now heaven-gifts)? Do they have good fruit flavors?

And no one has suggested a good cherry. :p There's gotta be a cherry that tastes non-medicinal haha

I really dont know if there is a good cherry at all. I have yet to find one that did not have a medicinal taste.

I have here a small bottle of Cherry that came from Eastmall. It isn't an especially strong flavor, but it doesn't have a medicinal taste. I also got some from Freesmoke a couple of months back. Again, kind of a light flavor. Nice clean flavor, though. Problem with Freesmoke is, depending on what quantity you buy, the prices range from 2X to 4X (!) more expensive than e-liquids you can purchase in the U.S. I have no idea why they are so expensive. Maybe they can do this because they're selling to a captive market (in Europe, where perhaps people just don't order from China or the U.S....I have no idea how big the 'vaping' scene is in Europe. EU regulators have banned snus except in Sweden; they'll probably stomp out e-cigs as well some day -- and then, like do-gooder 'we know how everyone should live' regulators everywhere in the world, go home and sleep well at night...don't get me started).

Freesmoke makes a killer rum e-liquid that I found downright awe-inspiring...but once that bottle's gone...then oh, well. I just cannot pay those prices.

OK Please forgive my ignorance. Newbie isn't the word for me! I am brand new to even researching the whole e-cig thing! I'm still a cigarette smoker. My husband and I both want to quit cigarettes but neither one of us want to give up the nicotine (go figure!)

My biggest question is, are ALL models out there capable of being refilled with juice rather than replacing the entire cartridge? My son said he knows people who are using Blu but their web site does not show any juices...so I was assuming that they are not refillable. They also do not offer many cartridge flavors. I want to try fruity flavors as well. So can I buy the Blucig and refill it with juices from some of these other suppliers you all refer to?

Any and all advice and suggestions on where we should start is welcome! We don't want to find ourselves giving in to buying cigarettes because the ecig thing is not a good experience. We want the best product available no matter the cost, as well as the best juices.

Thanks in advance! I can't wait until I can post one of those banner stating "Smoke free for.....days"!!!

you can refill the Blu carts. it is easiest for me w/ a syringe. I also have a 510 and I like it better. But I still use the Blu because I like the PCC (charging case) better for work.

If I may, I would like to make a suggestion: Do your homework. Stay far away from blucig. I, like many others, have had terrible experiences not only with the product, but also with the service that blucig provides. There are many much better alternatives to blucig, and many fine sellers on this site alone.

Yes, almost all electronic cigarettes can be refilled with "e-liquid", including blu, but the product is not nearly as well-designed as the Joye510, DSE901, or even the 402 (terms you will learn if you frequent this site) you will need to charge the blu-cig battery about every 40 minutes of use, and refilling (or in some cases even re-stuffing) the carts is a pain, especially considering you are a newbie (nothing wrong with that of course).

There are several other major design limitations with the blucig that makes them terrible for new users.
