I was going to the bank this morning and saw a police van with the lights flashing and I started to panic. I started to shove my power pac and the 901 usb in my pocketbook. Now why in the world would I do all that?
For a second I felt like I was doing something illegal.
I guess I just don't know how the law around here will see the PV.

ROFLMAO. That is too funny, but not completly unrealistic. The other day a friend was introducing her friend from CA who is a police officer and she goes "what the hell are you smoking!" I explained it to her and she said if she had stopped me back home she would have probably taken me in anyways. So now I have that fear too, so I'm with ya on the panic part.

I went to the supermarket just down the road, so all I had with me was my Nicostick.
Anyway, I got out of the car and turned around, ready to take a puff before going in to the store..coming around the edge of my car is an officer.
He startled me and I dropped my stick. He very kindly picked it up and handed it back with an odd look. I said thanks and scurried off.
I should have stayed to explain, I should have had some kind of reply, but I am an ex hippy and the old paranoia took hold! I still get it even after going to college to be a cop, taking training, being a security guard, I still panic! 8-o

The good news is my nicostick is still kicking out vapor! :D

That made me laugh C. I had a vision of my stick turning into a rubber chicken from George and Fred Weasley's shop!:D

I cannot believe my glib mouth failed me! I normally never meet a stranger or am at a loss for words. You would have thought I had done something wrong. We are still legal , right?

It was a Nicostick not a Screwdriver for pete's sake! He probably thought it was a weird looking asthma inhaler.
Can you imagine what he would have thought had it been one of Trog's Screwdriver's? Do they have internet stations the in holding tank?:nah:

You guys, that makes me sad, that you're scared of cops! Did you know I used to be one? My hubby still working part/full time, been retired seven years. He probably would have asked what flavor juice you had! I thought maybe you'd say you shoved it in your purse to make sure you had it when you got to jail! DON'T TOUCH MY STICK, you say. You have your rights!

Kate! When I was growing up half of my family were cops! Not only Police, Highway Patrol, Sheriff's dept, 2 Sherriff's of Hillsbourough Co. Fl. were my cousins. And a couple of wardens. I wanted to be one too, but the height requirement in those days was 5' 6, I was 5'3 barely. It wasn't til I lived in Cheyenne that they said I was big girl enough..lol . That and my marksmenship.
They bad part was that after placing 17th out of 360 other people testing for the positions open and getting it, that Mike got transfered back to Florida!
It was just the whole startled thing. Like I said. Plus the fact that I think Mike and I are the only people in St. Cloud to use them. The police here in this little Orlando wannabe city wear black outfits, drive black cars, have Marine high and tight's and ..well you know..the whole macho thing. Not condusive to "Hail fellow, well met"!

In my part of the USA. There are not too many people that even heard of a e-cig or PV.
Only thing they know are drugs. So I most likely would be taken to jail with the screwdriver or the GG. Have to stay there until they figure it all out. So yes, cops scare me.

Yep, same here. My 801 never got noticed at all. My Platinum Pilot however people thought was a crack pipe. My no LED 510s have been mostly ignored. My Prodigy I'm hoping with not having an LED people will just think I really like tools. Won't take it everywhere though.

My little juice bottles also seem to scream DRUGS to people. I've been looking for 3ml or less lotion pumps to maybe stave off some of that. And I'm probably going to get a 901 PCC with either a white or black 901 w/ orange LED. Try to blend in a bit more.

I was driving the other day and saw a cop and thought I'd keep my 901 down till he past. I don't want to be hassled. There's so many people that don't know what these are. I'm a big chicken...

I needed to drip and waited till coming up to the red light and felt like if someone pulled up to the side of me they'd think that.

Mary Kay, what you say is so right, nowadays they have a very different personna, power and narcissistic comes to mind. We came from the old days, when the mantra was really public good and safety, although even then there were some who should never be given a gun! That's kind of why my hubby is still working, the little town threw out their powerballs and went back to the old ways. People were afraid to go downtown for a beer, or scared to death if their cat got out! Now it's everybody's home-town again. They like their beer, and Reagan, the military, and old cops! And law and order still prevails, pretty neat.

Try Juicy juice for the tiny tube style bottles, I have them! They are not drippers though, just vials for test mixing.
Kate, Our cops are not mean, just military looking. It's intimadating. I have been involved with the Kid I.D. program with police and Blockbusters. It was a real priviledge to work with them.
I just don't like them sneaking up on me! LOL
