Blue Foam mod

I heard about this but don't know what it is and I can find it. But what is the blue foam mod and where do you get blue foam?

i've read about people buying it in pet shops (in the aquarium section) and cutting it up themselves, but i just ordered some already pre-cut from strictlyejuice when i made my last order. i'm not a big fan of the blue foam, personally..

not a big fan either, make sure too rinse and dry thoroughly or you will get a plastic taste.
I think the atty gets too wet, ok for higher voltage mods imho.

I like the Blue Foam, Magnum Foam Canister Filters at any Pet or Marine Store. Works very well in my Ego. Check out the Tips and Tricks section under Cartridge mods. Plenty of info and ideas there.

I use marineland blue foam. I bought it online for $5.

I got my blue foam in my DIY kit. I tried it and it seemed to work ok for a day then I noticed my 510 was flooding & leaking so I have gone to fluval. Also included in my kit. I just watched a video on refilling with poly fill and think I figured out my problem (too much fill). I will try again this week.
