Anyone else see this? The blue LED at the tip on all of the batts I bought from Innovapor is offset (not in the center of the tip.) They are all off to one side....Is this just a general variance? or is there something to this?
Every e-cig I have has the light (every color) offset. This is due to multiple led's on the printed circuit board. Your blue led battery also has a red led soldered right next to it, so a slight offset will always be noticed if you look hard enough. Some are just more noticeable than others because the circuit board might not be exactly centered in the tube.
What I noticed is that the batts I bought from Eastmall (IV's supplier) is set closer and more offset to the cap, making it very apparent that the light is offset. The ones I got from another company is set farther back and centered, so the light is more uniform.
They are offset usually, but sometimes I notice that my RN4081 fully lights up .... I thought it had to do with if the battery was fully charged to capacity and the hit that you take. I really don't know. It's speculation. I really don't care.
I noticed on my true dse801 it is more offset i think due to the two colored leds in it... one green one orange. On the other hand my rn version was pretty much dead center. Both light the tip enough for my tastes
