I have found that I have to fiddle with My Buzz Pro most every time I set it down. It seems to be very tempermental. Sometimes I have to either loosen or tighten the top cap. Sometimes it's the bottom cap. Sometimes it will stop firing mid vape. Then I have to make my adjustments with either the top cap or the bottom cap. I think at some point I will have to replace the caps.

I'm going to order another couple of sets of Powerizer batteries today. One of my original Ultrafires died already, but the Powerizer set is going strong.

Anyway, I really appreciate all of the help here on this forum. I'm especially pleased that Buzz takes the time to reply directly to all of my concerns. I'm so pleased with all of the help I get here. I don't feel scared in that I'm going to be left in deep space with a product problems caused by pilot error. I intend to add another Buzz Pro to my battery order. Yup - I decided on another Buzz Pro. Maybe I'll put the Infinity on my Christmas List.:D

Clean the bottom cap where it contacts the tube AND clean the end of the tube , mine will work loose every once in a while and act like it is broken when it is just loose !

:D

I have the same problem with my new on/off cap. Sometimes it works..sometimes it doesn't. (no red to blue or no red at all) I'll take it all the way off and start over. I keep doing this until it finally gets the red light. If I turn it from on to off, 90% of the time it won't go back to on when I turn it back to on. I have to start all over and keep screwing it in and then out again until finally it works. I'm thinking about sending the on/off cap back and just keeping the original bottom cap that doesn't do the on/off thing. I haven't used my buzz much. Maybe I'll pull it out and give it another shot over the weekend.

Cathy let me know if you want me to check it out for you. It sounds like you have a grounding issue. Make sure the bottom screw in the cap is tight as well as the one on the side and make sure the cap and tube where the cap contacts it are clean.

+1

It is a good idea to give the tube end and end cap contact point a quick wipe down when you change your batteries or every few battery changes. Oxidation will occur normally over time. Wiping off this oxidation will help maintain the best possible connection and prevent current flow issues.

I had that issue at first but after some use it doesn't happen anymore. I might just be lucky though (that would be a first lol). I do like that the batteries fit tighter and don't rattle at all anymore. I also don't get the sparking I was getting with the old caps when it would contact the tube.

Ok...thanks guys. The cap was brand new and I used the buzz only a couple days at the vapefest. I'll try the cleaning again befor I pull it out again. If it keeps up..5CS...I'll give it to you to play with and see what you think. Thanks for offering.

Try re tightening the bottom screw as well , this might help.

Mod-Thanks for letting me know. I pulled it out over the weekend and it appears to be working the way it was intended. Maybe it was just too tight at first or something. Maybe all that screwing in and screwing out took away some of the initial tightness/newness. Never-the-less...it's doing fine now.

Sometimes they get a little anodizing under the screw which makes for a bad ground. All the screwing back and forth probably cleaned that out. If it gives you any more trouble let me know and I can meet you at the store in Lakewood. I wouldn't need to take it. We could do it there. I'm glad you got it going good though.
