So this is how the week went. Monday got up not feeling well but too late to call in and who could cover anyway? So grudged through it and made it, went to bed all Tuesday during the day and woke up feeling better.
I go in early and the newest member Jesus, "I need help" I need help. And I do again and he begins to tell me he is not comfortable on the front desk and has asked Dee three times for more training as she gave him none, like all the others before him. That and the conversation we had revealed a new perspective of maintenance boys laziness, football season is good for him two full games viewed in a vacant room and paid instead of training him on maintenance on Sunday.
I was upset about the time as I was tired and knew I would not sleep so got popeyes and then find out the meeting is canceled. Flight delayed to weather from Houston, so next day same stupid time. So needless to say I get a nap and go in groggy and sit to listen an okay meeting more of a meet and great as there are mostly all new faces.
Leave and get a few more hours and well she did say looking at me "Open door, talk to me." in the meeting I with a smile "Oh I will." and I did. So go in last night early and text her, we need to talk, she says to call. For the next 37 minutes I laid out the laundry and all that is going on. She was stunned and I was right, she had no clue coming what was going on. and after the whole talk told her I do not trust Dee, and you can call Michael the old GM and he will tell you pretty much the same.
She hung up and said she would talk to the nearer RM, and speak to me in the morning. She came down to see me jumping a Sheriff's SUV, I know I helped a cop.... Then was on the phone for about thirty minutes with the door shut, Jesus was over an hour late. I think he is playing dumb and told her that as he was shown that Maintenance according to Joey boy is a work free zone.
So with one who quit and another possible, breakfast is low on staff from two to one, I cooked this morning, and minus maybe my relief. I am now on for a full two weeks, plus long hours and breakfast to help cover. She did ask for my paperwork and again Oh my goodness. I go with proof, without it why bring it up. So here I will chat to myself instead of GMO's thread and like others "I will just read." wont hold my breath but will check in every once in a while. There should be a new person in a few days likely to say hi there as we talked last night for a few hours.
