Wow! What a surprise that was after aging a couple weeks. Put it in a new carto and blam! This is really really good. I can even taste the crust again! Marie calanders watch out Geoff is in the house!
I haven't had luck with the blueberry flavors. Like blueberry cheesecake all I get is blueberry, no cheesecake flavor at all, so I passed on this one. I do love blueberry but I need something to tone it down a little. Can you really taste the crust?

I had the same problem with blueberry (and strawberry, raspberry) overpowering the cheesecake. I decided to try again last month and requested less blueberry flavoring in the mix notes. It did the trick and I can now taste both flavors.
That's a great idea! Cheesecake has always been one of my favorites so it's been disappointing when I couldn't taste it in the fruit/cheesecake mixes. And it's on sale this week!

I have blueberry pie and strawberries and cream. I like blueberry pie a lot better. I let strawberries and cream steep for a week and a half and it still don't taste quite like I'd expected it to. It's not bad though.
Wow, this stuff's incredible. I actually have REAL blueberry pie in the fridge that's just sitting there now. This stuff's just way better. I let mine steep for about 3 weeks.
