Blue'ing stainless steel Igo W top cap

Hey guys I dont have a very powerful torch I got a decent result using a gas stove (kitchen) but it is starting to fade. Has anyone tried this with an electric stove? I assume it is the heat that blues the metal but I wanted to know if anyone has tried this (electric stove blue'ing top cap) with decent results.

Hi Zack,

I am not sure if the IGO t top cap has any o-rings, if so, you would need to remove them first. Use oven mitt to remove tray from oven but you could try this,,,How to Make Stainless Steel Blue | eHow
