Ok, i know what your thinking, another bobas bounty fanboi. Well actually this is my first time ever vaping it. I went into it telling myself "this is just another juice" and "dont fall into the hype". I didnt vape anything for an hour before i started. I cleansed my palate and used a fresh tank with brand new coils before vaping. I shook the bottle up for about 5 min and let the juice sit in my tank for ten min before vaping as well. Ok, everything is in check for a brand new vaping experience undisturbed by prior flavors. This review will be based on 5 star scoring system. 1 * =1 star - up to- ***** = 5 stars
Bobas Bounty -
Firstly, what is Bobas Bounty? Well i could only answer that by saying do a search on this forum for more information but in a nutshell, it is a 100% VG based juice available at alien visions e juice. There is another site selling a knock off called Alien vapors so watch out for that.
Sweet Spot Walkthrough -
With everything in check i begin my review by opening the bottle. With the bottle opened i can smell what seems to smell very much like Honey graham crackers and the juice is very very thick from being 100 vg. I begin taking a few primer puffs. Im on 2.4 ohm currently at the standard 3.7 volts (about 5.5 watts). Ok first few hits, i can automatically tell right off the bat this needs higher voltage or lower ohms one or the other. Flavor is very light and throat hit nonexistent vapor is ok. No reason to continue at this wattage. Staying on 2.4 ohms bumping volts up to 4 volts (about 6.5 watts). Ah, now i am getting more flavor , throat hit, vapor production has only gone up slightly. Ive been vaping long enough though, that i can tell that 6.5 watts is still not the sweet spot for this juice. Still on 2.4 ohms i bump the volts up to 4.3 (around 7.5 watts). Wow, flavor has changed dramatically, throat hit is almost there and vapor production is in full force creating more vapor than any juice ive ever vaped. I move the voltage up a little more to 4.5 volts at 2.4 ohms (around 8.5 watts). Throat hit a little too much for me. I move back down to 4.3 volts, now that the juice has warmed up a little the throat hit has gone up as well at 4.3 volts. So just a hair above 4.3 volts at 2.4 ohms (about 8 watts) appears to be a sweet spot for me. Now i can proceed to vape in this sweet spot.
Vapor Production - *****-5 Stars
Being at my sweet spot for Bobas Bounty, (8 watts) I notice very large plumes of thick and consistent vapor. I am drawing at about 4-5 second hit times and as far as vapor production, it is a very pleasurable vaping experience unlike anything ive encountered other than a few of my own mixes. Vapor production on this juice is the best it gets in vaping.
Taste - *****- 5 Stars
I get a Honey graham cracker upon inhale, Raisins, toasted coconut(slightly), vanilla (slightly), maybe some marshmallow, Peanuts and a tiny bit of saltiness like maybe roasted peanuts, and perhaps the slightest hint of chocolate but a milk chocolate not dark much like hersheys, the chocolate is very very light, it could even be my sense of smell telling me it is like a smores. Upon exhale i get full flavored tobacco perhaps a tad bit like a camel cigarette, yet the exhale still retains some of the original inhale flavors as well.
Throat Hit - *****- 5 Stars
For 12 mg this throat hit is very smooth and pleasurable. The throat hit is there exactly where i want it to be. I am not coughing , it is nearly perfect.
End Result - *****- 5 Stars
All in all, this will be an all day vape for me. Bobas Bounty reminds me of good times sitting around a campfire with family and friends eating smores in the mountains at night.This review was based on the juice directly out of the mailbox. Some of the flavor may change while steeping but it does not seem to need steeped. Now that i have experienced Bobas Bounty on my own i can look back at all of the hype and ask myself, " Does it live up to the hype?". For me, yes it does and than some. To date, this is the most pleasurable vaping experience i have ever had with Halos Belgian cocoa right next to it. If youve read this review i appreciate your time and remember taste is subjective.
