xtwosm0kesx... I seen where one of our members here in the forum carefully pulled out the wicks in and Iclear 16
and pulled some cotton thru the dual coils... and is one happy camper with the results they came up with.

Even as old as I am... and with my big old clumsy hand (laughing at myself) seeing you recommending using cotton
for wicking... you sure put me in the mind to rebuilding with cotton a try... I hear the FLAVOR of the e-liquids sure
stands out MUCH better... just got to try it.. for myself.

It can be done.

Early on, as a test, i rewicked a CE4 with cotton to test it out, its performed ok, but was still a CE4...lol. I assume rewicking an iclear wouldn't be too much tougher.

Have you gotten to the point where you are wrapping your own coils yet?

If so you may consider grabbing a cheap dripping atty (such as Igo-l ~$12) to build on/practice, you definitely will have a hard time finding better flavor than an RDA, but some people don't like the added hassle of having to drip/have no desire to build their own coils/wicks.

I have a lot of time on my hands... and I'm excited to learn more when it comes to ...improving the flavors of vaping...
So I think I'll just follow your advise... and look into getting myself the needed equipment and supplies... Thank you!

Wow, lotta places are outta Igo-L's all the sudden, looks like TriangleVape still has both L's (single air-hole, generally single coil builds) and W's (dual airhole, generally dual coils) at about $9 and $13 respectively. Note that the Igo-W has thru holes on the posts which makes binding the coil legs much easier, the Igo-l only uses screw heads to bind the leads, but still is manageable. Triangle's Igo's (like most) don't ship with drip tips, so keep that in mind.

IGO-L - Triangle Vape LLC

IGO-W - Triangle Vape LLC

Grab a few different guages (most common being 28g, 30g, 32g, with 30g being a decent middle of the road) of Kanthal from temco @ about $5 per 100ft:

Resistance Wire

And a box of these:

CVS Cotton Balls - CVS pharmacy

And you're ready to start experimenting!:vapor:
