Hey y'all. Wondering if anyone can chime in as to how long a newly built wick should last on my Penelope, vaping Bobas at 18mg at a constant 3.7 volts.

I using 3.5" wick from Clouds of Vapor (standard wrap), and the pre-made coils that GG makes (1.5 ohms).

Seems like I have to rebuild the wick and coil every few days, is this normal?

You can dry burn it to clean the gunk off the wick, it'll actually be better than doing a new setup. It's the price you pay for vaping BB. I go through a lot of it but I drip it in a Pheonix clone which is much easier to do a dry burn on. I dry burn in front of a fan rather than blowing on it. If you've never done it its pretty easy. Remove the tank and mouthpiece, blot it with a paper towel to get as much juice out of the wick as you can. Now fire it in front of a fan or while blowing on it. It'll make a lot of vapor at first, then it will start to dry and start glowing. Keep doing it until the wick turns white again and only the coil is black. That's it! Rewet the wick, put back together and fill her up. Everything is already seasoned and broken in so it will vape like a champ from the start. You should be able to get a week maybe two before you need a new setup. Just dry burn every few days when you notice the flavor going off.
