i got a free 510 auto bat with an order of flavors from flavors by eliquid store --the carto that came with was pretty weak threw a boge 2.0 ohm on there and its kind of fun (usually use ego batteries} will this fry the battery it's not truly low ohm but i can't remember all the little cautions about MOSFET this and battery that...is 2.0 an "LR" not to be used on auto batteries?

2.0 is consider LR, if you using the standard 510 batteries on them, I believe you will decrease the lifespan on the battery very quickly. Not sure about frying it though. As for auto batteries, I never had one, but heard that if liquid gets in, it's not good for the battery. That why they dun recommending dripping w/ auto batteries.
i'm not dripping on this (had n early misfortune with a 401 auto bat that really sizzled--haven't used an auto bat for about a year (do have an old one that holds a half hour charge and happened to try it the other day and it was sort of fun with an ego cartomizer on it. But super clunky looking. have some boge 2.0s and they are hitting really nice. I got the new bat for free --basically intending to Pass it Forward PIF to a smoker in my building at work who keeps saying they want to quit but is obviously a nicotine junkie (as i am) but now that it came in i threw the boge on and it was sweet. Wonder what they mean when the "shorten the batteries life. After all the first little "mini fogger" bat i bought over a year ago still works-i just don't use it too often cuz its so weak and short lived.
so are we saying cuts the battery life in half or drains it so fast that it hast to be recharged in half the time or messes up the elctronics so bad that it stops working. 1 &2 i am fine with--it's a toy sized thing anyway...-but old style 510 cartos and atomizer cart combos drove me back to analogs for a while and i want to put something together that someone one will get a kick out of. (but is cheap enough to give away)

I only use BOGE 2.0 ohm's on my standard 510's, haven't had a problem in 3 weeks now. I have read on here that a lot of people do it and never had any problems, but there is always that fear..
I use the boge LR on manual 510s all the time, for months with no problems.They are nice to use when you want something small on the go.

I've been trying it for a day or so-with due caution--just for variety--it doesn't really vape as well as an ego but i won't give it to a newbie with an LR. (even though it vapes the way i think a newbie would like.) it was free and i'm not too worried about battery life., i have a couple of megas i never use and even the very first mini if i can get some use out of them as my own sort of novelty break i think it's worth a shot. it's a 2.0 so not reeaally low LR
