I just tried a Boge 2.0 , in the name of science, at 6 volts.

Well, there wasn't any fire. But I can swear that I smell Burnt Marshmallows. Now I have to go and brush my teeth to get this Horrible Taste Out Of My Mouth.

Never Again. Not Even for Science.

Boge cartos at 2.0 ohms are fine for 3.7 Volt e-cigs like eGo and Riva. For 6.0 Volts, you have to go to high resistance cartos like 3.8 or 4.0 ohms.

Try this for Boge blank cartos 2.0 ohm and 3.0 ohm at $1.29 a carto
electronic-ash.com

Yeah but no free shipping with electric-ash. C.C.V has 15 cartos for 20 bucks + free shipping + you get 2 free plastic drip tips or 1 metal drip tip choice of many different colors + a syringe and needle for filling if you carto+ 5% off if you use coupon code ECF5OFF making them 19 dollars for the whole deal + If you don't like the carts when all is said and done C.C.V will give you your money back

Im liking the CCV deal

The electric-ash deal would be like 24-25 bucks ( will ecigforum coupon work on this?). With no drip tips plastic or metal drip tip. No syringes/needles and what if I don't like the carts will electric-ash buy them back??? Don't get me wrong the electric-ash deal would be a good deal if CCV didn't have that special going on.

At 6 volts in a Boge 2.0 it was reduced to the Smell, and Taste, of Burning Cigarette Filters. Burning Filters from the bottom of a Trash Can outside a Homeless Shelter after it had rained.

Considering 6v in a 2 ohm carto is producing 18 watts, I'm really not surprised...

I heard it said one time that "Courage is Not someone that puts themselves in Harms way. It is someone who Knows the Danger but does it anyway." I thought it best not to do the calculation before I screwed on the carto to my VVPV.

I'm happy to report that there seems to be no Major lasting side effects of vaping a 2.0 carto at 6v.

Aside from some Short Term Memory Loss, Random Twitching in my Left Eye and an Occasional onset of Tourette's Syndrome, everything seems to be fine.

I wonder whats the best way to fill up these cartomizers? It seems that no matter how much you let them sit with eliquid they never get truly saturated. I know cuz I filled one up with about 30 drops and took it apart and I was surprised how dry it still was...Any advice?

Also is there a way to clean these? Whenever I fill them they almost always get juice in the center tube. i think that juice ends up drying and getting hard causing a slower draw...any fix for this?

When I used filler type cartos, I would Always put 2 drops of juice down the center airway Before I would fill the carto. The fill as usual. Once it was filled, I would hold a paper towel over the battery end and give it a gentle blow to ensure that the air way was clear. Never had a problem with dry spots.

Do an ECF search for "carto cleaning" and I'm sure you will get page after page of info.

For a hard draw there is Two things you can do.

1) Take a straighten out paper clip and GENTLY push it thru the battery end until it comes out the mouth piece hole. I said GENTLY because if it hangs up on the atomizer coil wire had you force it, your going to break the atomizer wire. Then the carto is No Workie.

Once the paper clip is thru the cart, roll the carto on the paper clip bread rolling pin style. This opens up the airway and should make a huge difference.

2) The other thing, a last resort, is to enlarge one or both of the side holes with a 1/16th drill. All you need to do is to break thru the metal and go no further. If your going to use the drill tech, I would suggest you do one hole and see how it goes.

There is a video about halfway down the page of this link, filling them this way works awesome.
