I just switch from tanks to Cartomizer and boy the a difference. Warmth and flavor consistency. Alot more maintenance though.

Is there a trick to fill thicker ejuice? That is my only issues. I have certain dark juice at 80/20 and it seems to just sit on top of the filler for a long time. I would spin it around to help it soak to the bottom, but I know it hasn't absorbed right, because I get an immediate burn taste.

80 VG/20VG? That's pretty thick for a carto.( It's also a bit too thick for tanks, BTW). I use type B on 3.7v and I love them, but 70PG/30VG is as thick as I dare put in the tank.

Cartos and tanks like 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG.

You can also thin them out to desired consistency with a few drops pf distilled water or vodka or plain PG.

I fill my Boge cartos with a syringe and an 18g sharp needle. Then I just drip to top off.

If your juice is heavily sweetened and thick, it may just not agree with cartomizers... I use light, barely sweetened and almost colorless juices. All those additives just clog cartos and atomizers.

Try filling with a syringe and needle, if you can, or poke the filler gently with a sewing needle to facilitate saturation. The Boges take ~ 30 drops of eliquid--if you underfill, they will burn on contact.

Will give that a show. Don't have a high gauge syringe, but will try the needle trick.

Was wondering if I warming up the bottle under hot water will help kind of thin it out initially.

Never tried doing this. It should be warm enough in Hawaii to make your juice nice and thin....

Aloha!

once you have filled them once, the subsequent fills soak in a whole lot better, so just be patient as someone else mentioned. Sometimes, with thicker juice, it takes a good 20 minutes to allow 30+ drops to soak into a new boge carto. Soaking overnight is not a bad idea either. I find boge cartos to be one of the best, most consistent vapes for the money.

I DIY, vape all the way to 0PG (likely about 90% VG, there's some alcohol in the flavorings), no issue.
On a fresh carto, pop the top off, tissue on the connector, fill the mouth end to the top, let it sit and soak. Repeat -- after two rounds it should be OK for a couple of puffs, then top it off one last time and you ought to be fine.
