boge cartos and halo problems

today i received an order of halo menthol ice. i am having a lot of problems with this liquid in my bore lr cartomizers. with any other liquid i can use the cartos for days no problem as long as i top up and keep them wet. i have gone through 4 cartomizers today with this new liquid! i fill a new carto up using the condom method, leave to dry a while and get a horrible burning fast after a few puffs.

i just don't know what to do, please help!

I use cartos with my menthol also. However i'm mostly filling over a pre-filled menthol carto (either from Halo or Lite Cig USA)
I do find that my Malibu Menthol doesn't last that many puffs in a cartomizer...........but I thought it was just me. Personally I think it could be the vg/pg mixture that Halo uses. I don't think the mixture wicks very well in the cartos, causing a dry burned taste after just a few puffs.

Are all of your cartos from the same batch?
maybe a bad batch of cartos?

That's a little worrying as I've got 80ml coming in of the liquid!

No the cartos are from 2 separate batches

Boges are notorious for only giving you the slightly off taste then burning the wick...I use a syringe normally cause it doesn't give me the burn tastes..I can't explain the how but many of times when I fill it that way, I get a horrid taste similar but differen't to a burning wick and then all is well and the cartos fine, it never happens with the syringe...I don't know if your problem is different or not..If it's actually burning the wick, then either the cartos are bad or it's not wicking properly, perhaps too much VG? Any more info?

I LOVE menthol and I love Boge 2.0s...I make my own, and I use more menthol then most distributors and I never have a problem even if the carto was filled earlier with a different non menthol juice...When I ran out of my Nicotine though, I was using like 80-100% VG and I lost atleast two cartos..I just boiled them clean recently and haven't found any more deads since and the menthol is fine...Crystal Clear vaping does a 15 pack for 20 dollars no shipping with a guarantee on the cartos though for future reference if your worried about them just being a dud batch

i LOVE malibu menthol, but i have found no matter what cartos i use they seem to degrade fairly quickly with this juice. i have used prime 15 in cartos for long periods of time (approximately 2 week in one carto) without an issue. the malibu is pretty sweet so i have always assumed it was the sweetener gunning up the carto. who knows. i simply don't use malibu in cartos anymore, i just drip it.

Try boiling then giving it an alcohol bath and boiling again...I've done this since my V4L KR808's back in the day and many of times it removes most or all of the gunk and the carto is good as new...I rarely toss a Carto, I can use 5 in rotation for sometimes a few months and the carto's never really die, they just eventually start performing less than exceptional and yeah...I mean I order a 15 pack once every 4 or 5 months and that's only cause I'll have the extra cash and I'll start a new pack and then use the older ones when I finally clean them while they are drying out...I rarely notice the difference between them

Perhaps it's time for a little DIY? How about a change of Carto's...I believe I read somewhere that someone had better luck vaping with Duals on sweeter and thicker juices, but I can't validate that as I've never tried them, just been too preoccupied loving my 2.0s

My all day Vape is halo menthol ice. Has been for months. I do not have any problems with it when using boge carto's. BUT. I only use carto's in my liquinator tank. Other than that, I use LR atty's and stealth cannons. No issues on any of them with the halo. I use about 90 ml of halo a month. (good stuff that menthol ice)

what do you mean by only use carts in your liquinator tank? I'm still fairly new to vaping so don't know all the terms yet! when using the boge lr cartomizers you have no problem with menthol ice?
