Boge cartos, buy 1 one hole or 2 hole?

Hi everyone, just curious which one to buy. I purchased the 1 hole thinking it was a 2 hole. So far so good. It works great and I am liking it better than the smoktech. Just wasn't sure if one is better than the other. The one hole prepunched carto seems to have a bigger hole than normal. The one with the 2 holes have smaller holes.

Can anyone give me some advise who has used both on the pros and cons if any?

I find the single larger hole versions are best for thicker juices (50% or greater VG); the 2 hole versions are better suited for thinner juices. It's not an absolute situation -- I've used thick juices with the 2 hole versions (usually the F16 Boges) with fine results, albeit it occasionally needs a couple of dry pulls to keep the batting wet, and vice versa (thin juices with the single big hole occasionally needs to have excess juice blown out).

I'm getting very nice results so far with the laser slotted Boges. They seem to be a nice middle ground that works with a variety of juice viscosities. Still on my first box of them, so too early to tell for sure, but so far they've worked well.

Thanks for your response. All my juice is actually 50/50. So I guess either/or will work. Basically I just wanted to make sure it was the same carto with only the hole/s difference.

wondering since its been awhile what your experience has been like now? do you have a preference for either one? I'm about to buy a large quantity and wondered which ones I should get?

I used to think that 100% VG needed two holes, so I was punching a second in Smok 1.5 DCT cartos.

I've tried a couple with just the stock single hole and they work great with 100% VG. I probably won't punch them again unless I start having issues, but so far they are going strong with no issues.

Wow, it's been a few months since I posted this. Well, here is my experience. I ended up preferring the 1 hole punch from Boge "when they work" Since this post I have purchased Boge from a few suppliers and out of a 5 pack I would have at least 2, some times 3 that were DOA " dead on arrival " Gave up on Boge's and now I only use Ikenvape Platinum 2 punch SR cartos. By far the best cartos with the most consistent flavor and quality control.

I am not that active on the forum. But this is one of the few sections of the forum I check from time to time. I also wanted to add that if Ikenvape Platinum Punch is not available, I use the smoktech 3.2 single cartos sold at Ibtanked. They work great but their filler is not as dense as the Ikenvape. They work very well with darker juices from my experience. If however you chain vape you will see some leakage on the battery contact, it's because the filler is not as dense.
