So, I've noticed that the 306 Boge cartos I love just taste funky pretty quickly. Within maybe a day and a half or two days max. I'm not sure if I'm picky, or if the juices I prefer are pesky or what. I have both 1.8 ohm & regular resistance, no difference that I can tell. (I've even tried some non-Boge cartos and same. Freaking. Thing. But they don't taste as good fresh, to begin with.)

I use some DIY, some Mrs. T's, some Tasty Vapor, some KBV flavors and a few others. Same thing with most of them- Tasty Vapor is by far the worst, though they taste awesome at first. There's a couple of flavors that seem less prone to go bad, I must admit, but the ones i prefer do, unfortunately. I do like bakery flavors mostly. Dripping seems like the easy solution but I really prefer the flavor and the convenience of the cartos, unfortunately. (My favorite DIY flavor, the one I use about 90% of the time total, tastes particularly bland dripped for some weird reason, but absolutely awesome out of a fresh Boge carto.)

Any thoughts? Is it just me, am I being too picky? Anyone else have this problem? It *seems* worse if I top off the cartos, though I could just be imagining that... I try pretty hard not to get them too hot, and swap off to a different carto if I'm chain-vaping, but...? Maybe I'm not being careful enough to keep them cool, I dunno.

I've had the same experience with the Boge cartos from at least five different vendors- it's not exclusive to one vendor, unfortunately.

I just dug out one carto that I remembered hadn't gone all funky that fell under the bed about a week ago right after I filled it (I know, yes, I'm a slob!) and I dug it out just now and it still tastes great. So it's not the liquid oxidizing I guess, which was my first thought. And I compared it to the one I filled 24 hours ago, but have been using regularly, and the 24-hour old one tastes like burnt .... compared to the one that hid under the bed.

I'm using them on: a Reo mini, eGo batteries, and regular Joye 510 batteries.

I've had little luck with high VG juices in any cartos. It just seems to be too thick to properly absorb into the fill or to wick properly. I've experienced plenty of dry hits and juice gone funky. It's not that pleasant. I love cartos, so I rarely buy juice that is thicker than 70PG/30VG. It's kind of a bummer because there are plenty of VG juices that I really like. I wish I had a solution for you.

I'll try the distilled water, cool. I figured if it was wicking all right (which it seems to, but dunno, I suppose poor wicking could be part of the problem too), it wouldn't clog and gunk, but clearly not!

Dripping is so fiddly, I hate doing it at work on my breaks etc. Cartos are so much less messy and fiddly, and I do love the taste of a nice fresh Boge. And dripping and driving? Forget it!
