Hello, I am fairly new to vaping. I am using a joye510 and I want to get some boge cartos. I see that you guys have them available in 2.0 ohms and 3.0 ohms. I was wondering which ones I should get. Thank you for any help
so for my 510, I should go with the 3.0ohms? I had a store front here in phoenix sell me a few boxes of LR cartos after I had showed them what PV I was using and then i read up that they can kill your batt. I had a very awesome person on here send me a few boge cartos and I just want to make sure I am not going to buy something that will kill my batt.
I think 2Ω on a 5v PV would be . . . . . . . HOT !!! I can't even chain vape 2Ω cartos on my Riva's.
The 2 ohm Boge's are vapor monsters. They are great if you want 5v performance out of a 3.7v battery. Only problem is, the wattage is 50% higher on the 2 ohm. This is not really a problem with a "Fat-Bat" type of PV but it'll be a bit of a strain on a Joye510. The little guy will pull it but it'll drain the battery in less time. The 3 ohm Boge's would probably work better on a 510.
JMHO -- Anyone else think I'm steering her wrong?
I got my first box of Liberty Flights' Boge 2.0Ω cartos on Wednesday and I'm really impressed with their performance and quallity. First of all, they are the cleanest tasting cartomizers I've ever tried. They produce tons of wonderful, moist and thick vapor but, surprisingly, they do not overheat. The shell of the carto remains barely warm, which means that the heat produced by the coil is used efficiently to vaporize the juice and none of it is wasted. The airflow through the carto is sheer perfection. The cartos are not overstuffed with filler and wick beautifuly. The coil get plenty of oxygen to heat the juice quickly and then enough of air to cool properly between puffs. Good job, guys.
As for resistance, I agree that the 3.0Ω cartos should be used on higher voltage than the eGo/Riva's 3.2v--3.7v and up. However, I have used them on my Rivas and they work great with delicate flavors which I often use, so I always have a box of them handy.
Fakesmile, the 2.0Ω cartos are not likely to kill your batteries, but they will stress them and shorten their life considerably. Generally, the LR cartos are recommended for use with batteries 450 mAh or better for that reason.
I understand that Ty is looking into getting some moderate resistance cartos--2.5Ω or so. That would be a great addition to your collection. They would be perfect for both the fatt batteries and for the 510s. If you get those, and the tankomizers, I won't need another vendor for the rest of my life... You'll be my one-stop shopping place!
Not to mention that you shipped my order within hours of receving it. You're as good Cignot, which is legendary for their speed...
Keep up the good work. And thank you, Ty and Abe.
OK, I just got my 2.0 Boge Cartos today from LF. Had to try one, since I've never used them before. I used it on an eGO PT, regular 650 Batt. So far...I seriously HATE it. I've been using the XL eGo cartos and to me the Boge taste awful. So, to make sure it's not my juice, I filled a blank XL with the same juice and it's perfect. I also use "clear" cartos with no filling from another vendor and the juice is fine in those too.
Apparently it's just me, because I've read nothing but rave reviews about the Boge and yes, they deliver LOTS of vapor, are easy to draw, but I can taste something odd in them. Not sure what it is. From the first draw to the last the juice almost tastes burnt. And yes, it was filled and the filler was soaked through.
So one reason that LF is out...I have two packs. ha Maybe I'll try again sometime, or maybe I'll just pay them forward to someone. I think I have to try the eGo T system next.![]()
Just been trying these out. They are first carto's I have used, so nothing to compare them to.. But loving them so far.. The 2ohms have some serious punch.
One question though, If i want to put a different juice in them, can they be washed out and dried?
