Hello all,

Just received the above and have seen several methods to fill them.

I here about condom method (no idea about this one - sounds weird lol)?

Then I heard for these carts you pop the top off and fill her up?

Then I heard you insert a syringe and fill it that way?

Can someone point me to the correct procedure as I have them and just look at them wondering if I should pull top cap off but do not want to mess them up LOL..

I have also heard the the carts will only last about 5-7 days, but thought you could clean then with warm water?

IDK, lots of questions on these ones.

TIA to all.

condom method isn't recommended, its messy and not the proper way to fill it, pop the cap off put it on a angle and drop e-liquid in it while rotating it so that it fills nicely and uniformly, i usually take the carto and whip it with my hand ( centrifugal force) to get the e-liquid in the carto faster, another good alternative way is just take a syringe and fill it up

How to fill a Carto

First, take off the white top of the carto. If you have a syringe,(18ga.) load it with 1ml of liquid and slide the needle down the side of the carto and fill from the bottom . A few more drops from the bottle until the top of the filling starts to look “slushy”. If you don’t have a syringe, just slowly drop drop drop about 30 drops. Let the drops go down the side of the carto, not into the hole in the middle. Every 10 drops or so it may help the flick the carto like you would a thermometer to force the liquid to the bottom of the carto. If you have a drip tip, throw away the white end cap thingy and use the drip tip, otherwise pop the white thingy back in place to vape and then get online and order some pretty drip tips.
I know it may seem complicated, but it really is not

One more thing. Don't vape too long without topping off the carto or you will burn it. You'll get a feel for when you need to top off, but until you do, do it often. If it takes more than 10 drops to get that slushy look on the filler, you may have waited too long.

My method .. after removing rubber end .. 1) Insert round style toothpick in theaded end of carto to plug runout 2) Insert toothpick / carto into a block of styrofoam at a slight angle 3) Drip 20-25 drops in, let sit till fully absorbed 4) Then drip another 5 drops of so ..

I then let sit overnight just to make sure the filler has fully absorbed the liquid .. I would at least wait an hour or more if possibe if you are in a hurry .. then, remove toothpick, blow thru the non threaded end into a paper towel to remove and excess .. insert drip tip, screw onto battery, and when you press the switch, you should hear a crackling noise ..

Keep filler moist .. and with a clear to semi clear liquid, 80% PG / 20% VG, I can generally get at least 5 - 7 days out of a new carto .. have gotten as much as 10 days .. I do not clean cartos .. with deals commonly available at 15 cartos for $20 or less shipped, the cost per unit is so small, especially when compared to an analog habit, cleaning is not time or cost effective, and it's a crap shoot anyway ..

I pop the rubber cap off and drop liquid in. It works much faster if your liquid is warmed up in a cup of hot water first, otherwise the thicker juice tends to take a while to soak in to the stuffing of a new carto. I get anywhere from 24 - 36 drops into a new carto. I tilt the carto slightly and drop in on one side to leave a dry area for the air to expel until it gets mostly full then drop in all around.

The condom method - (imo)

- works great when you're filling your carto while walking - but never driving (though I did that once)
- if you get the hang of it - it's the fastest most convenient way to fill
- it's the only time in your life you should be reusing a condom (.... lol)

The condom is just a nickname for the rubber end caps on the cartos. Doesn't refer to the other kind.

See I just learnt again, because I thought you use an actual condom as I have not looked up a YT vid on the procedure yet. Good job as I have not bought condoms for many many years..

I should have mentioned to be sure to hold the carto over something to catch drips and have paper towel or kleenex handy. Start keeping an eye on the bottom at around 20 drops to watch for liquid coming out. Sometimes I get 30+ drops in and no dripping; sometimes it starts dripping at 20 drops... Hope that made sense. Let it soak for a minute or two and if the top of the stuffing is dry add another drop or two, watch for dripping, repeat.

I use a needle and stick it up the battery connector end and slowly fill it that way until it starts seeping out the top. I also shake the crap out of them when they are full with the cap on so that it distributes the ejuice through the poly fill. I seem to get alot more liquid in there and not get that burnt taste by doing it this way. I used to drip directly into the top and let it seep down, but that just didn't cut it for me anymore.

Wow ... I would never have thought that would work for some reason. Definitely going to have to try that one. Dripping them to fill is just a tad bit tedious.

I've found these to make the task really easy of using a syringe.
I usually get rid of the blunt tip and just replace it with an 18 gauge needle instead. On the plus side they usually come with a cap

OK, so I have the Boge (r) filled and seemed to get a lot of juice in it, I screwed it on the bat and could her the snap crackle pop of the juice NICE...

Question now is..... What type of cap or drip tip will fit on this thing as the ones I have are far to large of a ID and just slips right over top of the cart... I'm thinking I need a smaller cap (yes I know there is the white cap on it) just saying it be nice to have some cover over the the entire Boge (r) cart plus then a drip tip cap or regular tip.

Any thoughts here or point me to a supplier link please.

TIA
