boge revo v2 and dual coil tank not working...

i got a boge revolution v2 that is not working with a dual coil tank i recently bought. its not the mod because i tried other cartomizers and it works. When i turn on my mod it runs for a second then it turns off. Then i turn it on again and it runs for half that time and then after that it wont turn on. But as soon as i unscrew my DCT i see my mod starts to work again. Can someone enlighten me as to what is going on? I tried the DCT on my ego passthrough and it works fine.

It would help if we knew what PV/Mod you are using.

The resistance of the dual coil carto that came with that DCT is too low. You shouln't use dual coils with a low voltage device anyway. Just because they call it a "dual coil tank", doesn't mean you have to use dual coil cartos and they need 4.2+ volts to work decently anyway.

Swap it to a single coil and it'll work, and work much better too.

so theres no way to get it to work then? because i doubt the ego passthrough is 4.2+ volts...

No, the eGo passthrough is the same 3.4 or 3.7V the ego is.
It's a matter of the battery rating. What type and size batteries are you using? What brand?
The protection circuit is probably kicking off when it's detecting excessive current draw.
You can solve the problem with different higher drain batteries.

i dont know what brand they are just know the model number is PL102235 700mah and 3.7V and there are 2 in the mod.

I'm assuming they came with the Boge? My guess is that the "PL" stands for Protected Lithium and your protection circuit is kicking in. That would explain the behavior and if the carto is working on another device, it's about the only thing it could be. I don't believe that PV has any sort of regulation or circuitry that would be doing that. Have you tried it with any other 1.5ohm carto? Again, I'm assuming it's a 1.5ohm dual coil carto that was included with your DCT.
