I'm understanding the V2 is the same as the V2.1, same body chassis and mold. The only difference is the anion was taken out for the v2.1, and an extra 700mAh (parallel, not inline) battery was added. And that some v2.1 users do have to adjust the center pin (via pencil or long screw) a bit higher. Once you seat your cartomizer/atomizer after that it's a perfect adjustment. I'd consider this "adaptable" in that at least it can move, compared to a soldered fixed position that works or doesn't. Happy accident, if I may say.

All my standard 510 cartomizers and atomizers worked with the unit right out of the box. However my innokin 510-T atomizer did not reach the connection post. As if the post was 1mm shy (though the threads look the same as a regular 510 to the eye).

I took the bottom lid off, then pulled the bottle and needle out of the Revolution v2.1.
I inserted a long, unsharpened pencil into the needle funnel.
Then inserted the atomizer (innokin 510-t) that wasn't making connection into the threaded appropriate end.
With the unit upside down on the edge of a table, I gently tapped the exposed eraser end of the pencil with something heavy until I felt the funnel and connection post slide down just a touch.
I removed the pencil and tested it. Voila! The innokin 510-T now works perfectly.
I reinserted the bottle and replaced the bottom lid.
I retried my regular 510 cartomizer and it still works as well.

That is a happy accident.
