I have all three: Boge Rev, VMod and Reo:

Boge Rev: Got this for an extremely good price during the Black Friday sale from EliteVaporworks. I wanted to try a bottom feeder and it was an inexpensive way to do so. For what it is, and for the price I think it's great. Battery lasts all day, juice lasts forever. Sometimes you see one for a good price in classifieds. If you do, pick one up. I've been using it almost daily since Nov and it's going strong and battery hasn't dropped off.
neg: once the battery dies, that's it. The draw was a little tight but a member gave me a tip to file the slots where you put the carto with a dremel and that helped a lot. Been using it since I got it and it's great.

VMOD: Purchased for someone and they are very happy with it. Nice size, nice looking, vapes great. I wasn't aware that it had proprietary carts/attys when I got it. I've read they can be modded.
neg: Proprietary cats/atty- not sure it's the case with all models or not. You're going to have to purchase batteries and a charger if you get the basic kit.

REO: It's great of course. As far as use and performance, I can't think of anything bad to say. If I had so say a negative, it'd be the price if you wanted something that costs less. Also need to purchase charger and batteries.

To be honest, I like them all. If money is no object, get a Reo. Want a cheap bottom feeder the Boge is great. Mid-price, the VMOD is very, very nice. There are other bottom feeders out there, but these are the three I've tried.

Yes, there is a passthrough I guess. I never use it that way, I charge it with the wall outlet. The battery is built into the unit, similiar to say an ego battery. Unlike the reo or vmod that use rechargeable batteries. I can't remember how many mah's but the battery lasts all day. I use boge 2.0 cartos. I accidently put a dual coil carto on and the unit shut off. But I just unplugged and replugged the charger and put it back on and reset the battery and it was fine.

Feeding the carto is slightly different on each unit, but none are hard or overly complicated. The boge you turn over and squeeze, the vmod turn over and turn back and squeeze, and the reo just squeeze (or squonk).

I found one here but I am looking for info as well, that's how I found your thread. I am thinking it would be good for a friend who can only use one arm, but I don't know. I'll share what I find.

For your friend I might suggest the Boge just because the button is very large and it's very sturdy. There is a wrist strap and it's encased in rubberish material. I think the vmod is plastic? Not sure. The Reo is very sturdy but can scratch. I accidently dropped my outside and put a scratch on the bottom. Almost cried. :(

Edit: Just remembered: He may have trouble getting the bottle in and out. You can put some tape around the bottle and slide it out that way. But it might be tricky. Actually with one arm, this may be an issue with most bottom feeders I think. The bottle in the Boge is huge though. I 'think' it's a 10 ml bottle. So it doesn't have to be filled often.

Your info has been great, thanks! Now I'm just wondering what the newest version is and where to get it. I found a 2.1 at vapor god, but I thought I heard there is a 2.2 somewhere?

Thanks!

Edit: Steve I read that a while ago and was so mad it was a tie haha! Do you have any different feelings towards them now?

Now that the V-MOD is in version 2, the V-MOD wins in my mind... I think I updated the article to reflect that, but I've slept since then and now I can't remember.

I think the Boge 2.2 might exist, but it only has a few minor enhancements like a deeper juice well. Sterling Vapor has them, I'm not sure of anyone else.

The new version of the VMOD which is 2.0 has a new feed system which can be used with any 510 cartomizer/atomizer it is no longer proprietary. Also the nice thing about the VMOD and REO (other than the woodys) is that they are mechanical no electronics to mess up.

If you use cartos, I'm not sure it makes a lot of difference but, I bottom feed attys. I'm not even sure the vmod can do that. I have used a rev2 and a Reo mini. The Reo's a lot better for me but, you do pay a premium for that. My biggest complaint about the rev2 was the tilt and shoot thing. If you do it a lot, it's a bit of a pain. That's not really a knock against the product because it's really not intended to be used that way and it did work.

I don't believe there is a v2.2, but some people call them that since Boge released three versions of it. The rev2 had a 600-ish mAh battery, the rev2.1 had a 700-ish mAh battery and the third version that was still called rev2.1 (but some refer to it as the rev2.2) has 2 700-ish mAh batteries for a total of 1400 mAh. PBusardo has a great video describing the differences:

A PBusardo Review The Boge Revolution V2 Vs V2.1 Video Version V1.2 - YouTube

If you haven't bought yours yet, I just ordered one from evcigarettes.com. They're selling just the device itself and one bottle with needle (no power cord, cartos or box) for $34.05 including 1st class shipping if you use the ECF10% coupon. The power cord, if I'm seeing the pictures correctly, is just a mini USB cord and I already have several of them between ego passthroughs and my Kindle. So why pay an extra $20+ for yet another cord and a box that will go in the trash. I spent a LONG time googling prices and that's the cheapest I found. But if you want the full kit and don't mind gently used equipment, there are currently two people selling used full kits on the classifieds for like $35 including shipping.
